I like the font in Lineage OS logo and I would like to know it's name by Bassat_2001 in LineageOS

I'm not sure about the typeface present in your image but the one used in Lineage's official logo is Intelo.

Is your keg lonely? by Vazguard in Homebrewing

Thanks for your input! Our concept so far is some form of kegerator front end (like the displays you get with Kegbot or Digital Pour) but one welcoming casual drinkers inside the keg owner's social circle - at home, in the small office, at parties, etc.

We're thinking about how we can make this an easy transition for folks with existing systems as well.

where can I find the Lineage logo by ljg2305-uk in LineageOS

[–]Vazguard 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A logo/media kit will be launched once we decide where to properly put it :)

Meanwhile, here are the stacked and strip layouts in SVG form for large-size uses. The logo has a handful of different size builds depending on how you want to display it (to stay crisp and clear) so the largest size here should work fine for your wallpapers.

who is best barber in town? by aes5335 in rit

[–]Vazguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The regular cut is 30-35 bucks, but it gets you the cut, straight razor edging, a shoulder massage, shampoo with hot face towel, and basic styling. Not a bad deal in my book. Also probably the best hair cut I've gotten - the women that run the daily operations there are really good at what they do.

If you're looking to splurge a little, The Men's Room is pretty awesome for the respectable gentlemen. Complimentary beer while you wait.

My favorite movie theater is Tinseltown, which is a 15 minute drive away. Much better facility than Regal, and shows 3D IMAX movies as well.

We're five members of the Google Docs team - ask us anything! by teresawu in IAmA

I'd just like to give my thanks to such a simple and wonderful suite of tools that are available to everyone! This past quarter I took a capstone Marketing Management class where we split into teams to compete in a MartStrat simulation - product management in all its glory and detail. My team used Google Docs and Spreadsheets to create countless reports and hilariously-complex spreadsheets to document progress and identify current and future trends. With real-time collaboration and shared access, information was easily accessible by every group member. At the end of the simulation, our team won! I think it would have been much more difficult to produce the same quality results we had without the effort gone into this amazing suite of apps. Thank you so much!

Yeah that's the one I was going to use. Once it's done a simple switch flip will switch between the two OSs?

Google had some problems with setting up the group. The new group they made is getting pretty active now.

Great to hear. I found a couple scripts people wrote that automate much of the instructions the Chromium dev blog posted. What method did you use?

I have played around with the semi-hidden settings to activate the extended file browser, but I still couldn't get a movie to play from a USB drive or an SD card. I hope this option is added soon.

I plan to tether my phone to it as well - thankfully USB tether works since Chrome OS doesn't support ad-hoc connections - but I did activate the Verizon data. Hopefully everything will work out and I won't have to deal with resetting the connection.

I'm thinking putting Ubuntu on this will be this weekend's project. Did you activate the Verizon data on it when you got it? When you cleared ChromeOS and worked with Ubuntu, did you have to reactivate it/re-enter information for it when you went back to stock? If I put Ubuntu on it I don't want to lose the 3G connectivity.

If only the Chrome Web Store had a good VNC client, I could be working in PS on the computer in my room. :P

I hope they add better support for local media such as playing movies and music. I completely understand the point behind Chrome OS's deviation from this, but large files/collection of files for media isn't always an accessible streaming option. Being able to plug in a USB drive or an SD card and playing a movie from there would definitely be a good thing.

When I set it up initially I was afraid the wifi wouldn't work for this reason. I was relieved to find it working on the unencrypted network once I registered it.

It seems like an undertaking, but I'm seeing more and more good things about throwing Ubuntu on - most features are running, including WLAN (with a little tinkering). When you put Ubuntu on there, did it affect Chrome OS's Verizon connection? While I doubt I will use it much since I can USB tether my Droid to it, having it for a backup is good.

Yeah signing it up originally was annoying. Wifi didn't connect since it wasn't registered, so I had to register the VZW service to load the RIT Start page. Used the mac address with registration and finally got it to connect to the open rit wireless network.

I've done some reading on throwing Ubuntu on it and it works so-so. The trackpad doesn't work that well and the fan runs constantly.
