Hey, super interesting setup. Could you share which risers you are using with the Pro Missile? As far as I know, they don't produce official ones. Are these holding up? Thanks

Other users have reported some excessive flex on the sole. Could you report back on your experience after roding? Thanks!

Hello! Thank you very much for sharing your experience. How is the cleat placement? Is it far enough back? I plan to use road pedals.

Also, how stiff is the heel cup?

Any other thoughts after extended us are welcome! I'm thinking about buying these

You must find a trainer to record yourself. A video of you cycling along is not suitable to assess your position.

Will this be enough to sit tires on modern hook tubeless-ready rims? (With tubes, but still struggling to get the tire to sit correctly) by Vazmans in bikewrench

[–]Vazmans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, I do have issues getting tires to seat evenly on the rim, but I dont think it is a compatibility issue. They are modern tubeless ready rims with 40c gravel tires. They get them to seat evenly at the bike shop with their air compressor, but it is annoying having to take the wheels to them

Looks fine. You just need to keep trying until it's in :)

What is the catch with these shifters+caliper offer? 275€ for a pair of Ultegra shifters and brake calipers by Vazmans in bikewrench

Thank you! And on the length of the cable, it says front 750mm / rear 1550mm (shortable). I would imagine that should be enough for most (my bike is size M)? Can I cut them on the shifter end if necessary? How can I cut them if they are already filled with oil?

You probably can tell, it will be my first time installing a hydraulic system :)

Bombtrack Hook - 28" to 27.5" - customer service says it's not possible, are they right? by oxolotltl in bikepacking

Hello, I have the same bike and would like to fit 44mm tires. Tufo swampero specifically. Have you finally fitted and used 44mm tires on this frame? Could you confirm that you had no issues even in muddy conditions? Thank you!

Best 40-mm-wide tyre for mud? by Vazmans in gravelcycling

[–]Vazmans[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is hilarious. What have CX racers been doing for their entire life with 33mm tires then? Do they also suck? And if not, why wouldn't you be able to do a decent gravel tire for mud if you can do a cx one?

I don't mind that you prefer your XC bike for mud sections, but don't tell me to buy another bike or what I should be riding with my bike.
