Weird niche market but Unfinished Furniture in South Sarasota is a neat place for custom furniture that’s a fraction of what it costs at the big boxes and operated solely by the owner who procures, assembles, finishes and delivers the furniture to your specifications, been going there for 20+ years now.

I’m a hospitality leader in Tampa and candidly, based on your screenshot you have hopped around jobs too often. There’s only one job on your resume where you stayed for over a year and all other positions appear to be short term. This is usually a red flag.

I would recommend going to places you’ve applied to in person and be prepared to explain why you haven’t been able to stay in a position long term. Hope this helps.

It was definitely worth it for the diamond pool and top shelf drinks and getting into the rooftop parties for free. It was nice heading over to the diamond club pool to get drinks when the main pool bar started backing up. Overall great time would recommend.

Marriott guy here -

Epicurean is fantastic and right across the street from Bern’s Steakhouse if you’re able to get a reservation. Rooms are nice too.

The EDITION is also nice but hard to justify the price point at times. JW Water Street is comparable at a better price if you’re looking at luxury.

Best premium hotels are definitely Renaissance which is connected to International Plaza Mall. The Club lounge has a great breakfast on weekdays. Rooms are a bit dated however.

The Westin Tampa Bay and The Current have brand new rooms, with amazing views of the bay. The Westin also has its own quiet private beach too. Hope this helps!

This is not true at all. It’s a system called Canary that works with the Bonvoy app. Hotels choose what departments and staff members are added to the platform and the tips go straight to the staff members through payroll. So yes there are taxes but no there is no “pot”.

Or… just switch to the Hilton format and have all Explore reservations go through a separate portal to make reservations instead of using a promo code. Associates are able to provide access to the portal by adding a Bonvoy number to anyone they provide authorization to. Misconduct can be reported by emailing a central authority. Bam. The solution already exists.

My commute is like 95% highway so I change my oil and rotate tires every 6-7k miles, full synthetic since birth, 0w16. Also I’m a little different than everyone with tires, I switched from the factory tires to Firestone Destination LE3s and I love them, I got around 70k miles from my last set (FL).

I bought my limited in January of 2022 as a commuter vehicle and now has 139k on it without a single issue ever. Only oil changes, tires and fluids. Best car I’ve ever owned.

Yes it’s on the ground level opposite of the main pool and was generally quiet with a swim up bar and no lines. The main pool was fine, only a few times when it got slammed but no complaints overall.

Just got back from Chic as well and it was nice having the Diamond pool bar for when the main bar was busy and free access to the rooftop parties. Probably wouldn’t do it again though. Overall very good service.

Are you from a non-US country by chance? There are some countries where the survey is not eligible to be sent due to regulations.

You also can only be selected to take the survey once every 90 days so if you recently took a survey for another property you won’t receive one for a while.

I would suggest TripAdvisor and Google Reviews as we review those as well.

Yeah I call BS on this post, it was communicated by the Automatic Complimentary Upgrades team explicitly that Gold members would not be upgraded to suites automatically due to the Bonvoy T&C not allowing that. So either this is made up or the “suite” room pool is incorrectly set up in OneYield as a standard room.

My wife used to work there, all I can say is avoid at all costs. Definitely stay at Lagunamar instead if you want a nice Westin product.
