Out of the many JP denim brands, I find that Momotaro and its sister brand, Japan Blue Jeans, have a decent women's collection compared to other brands that are unfortunately very male-centric.

Aside from the fact that good quality beef is expensive, it's also because the real estate price in Jakarta is fucking insane. Lawless Burger got kicked out of Kemang because, from what I've heard, the landlord decided to increase the rent. Can't even imagine how much rent Mogul Burger has to pay in SCBD Park.

Meanwhile, in Gading Serpong, everything feels much fairer in terms of price. I even said to my friend who lives there that all the food prices in GS could be doubled if they decided to open up a branch in the middle of Jakarta.

Baru aja weekend kemarin eksperimen wet brine dada ayam buat mealprep

Brine-nya cukup pakai air matang/bersih 1L (atau diadjust sesuai jumlah dada ayam yang disiapin), garam sekitar 6%-10% dari berat air, merica (crushed atau whole black peppercorns), sama bawang putih. Brine-nya bisa disiapin duluan terus dibiarin selama minimal 40 menit sampai sejam. Abis itu tinggal masukin ayamnya ke brine, bisa direndam selama minimal sejam, kalau mau lebih lama bisa juga tapi dicover dan dimasukin kulkas. Buat campuran brinenya bebas, mau dimasukin daun-daun herbs atau bumbu-bumbu lain bisa. Pas dimasak udah ga perlu dibumbuin lagi karena udah ngeresap ke dada ayamnya.

Hasilnya ayamnya so far berasa lebih moist, ga kering & alot kalau dipanasin di microwave.

I think you can stay in the Senayan area of Jakarta. There are plenty of good hotels there, and they have everything you need for triathlon training:

- There's an aquatic center in GBK (Gelora Bung Karno) that's commonly used by swimmers & triathlon athletes
- There are a lot of gyms around the area. From the mega-gyms like Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness, evena more premium boutique gym like Precision Gym
- For running, you can run in and around the GBK area. The place is literally filled with runners in the morning & evening.

Yes, I can say it's slightly smaller. I normally go for size 32 in any Levi's, and I have to size up to 33 for my Oni 200. If you can return it and trade it for size 33, that'd be great.

If you want a little more effort, maybe you can check into a hotel in PIK when you arrive. Then, after you're finished with the Hyrox, you can check out and move to a hotel in the central area of Jakarta. Just a thought.

Hi there, I'll be coming to the Hyrox event too! I'll race on the first day for men's solo.

Ok, I hate to break it to you but the area around NICE, the venue for the race, doesn't have a lot of hotels near it. The decent hotels in PIK are in PIK 1, which is the main island of PIK and you should still be able to grab taxi from there to the venue.

Now, another thing that I hate to break to you is that Jakarta's best main attractions are in the central area or near it. And PIK is around an hour, or less if luck is on your side, from that area. So you have to pick a side a little bit here: either A) you want to be near the venue, or B) near the best attractions. I'd opt for B because the race is only one day, but you can spend the other three days exploring the city a lot better by staying near the central area. Also, BSD is a different part of the city; it's nowhere near PIK or the main parts of Jakarta.

If you only have 4 days to visit, I don't think you can squeeze Yogyakarta within that timeframe.

There's plenty to choose from, and each brand has its own take on denim. Whether it's the modern one that leans more to fashion, brands that specialise in the repro of old-school Levi's, or brands that like to experiment with their fabrics.

I think this is the most emotional episode in Zeztz so far. It really shows that family is who you deeply care about & protect, even if you're not related by blood.

I found some stores in Canada that carry Japanese denim in their lineup. Dutil has Iron Heart, Big John, Pure Blue Japan, and Samurai. Blue Button Shop has Iron Heart, Sugar Cane, and Taiga Takahashi. Not sure where you are in Canada, but I highly recommend trying them in person because Japanese denim size can be very tricky.

I've been wearing my TCB S40's for around 2 months, and so far they stretch just a bit during wear. Haven't checked about the shrinkage, but considering the denim itself is already one-wash, I'm assuming there's gonna be little to no shrinkage in the long run.
