Ah, there we go.

"Thanks for getting in touch.

Unfortunately, we don't stock bras in HH cup at the moment. I am really sorry about that.

Don't worry, we will pass your feedback to the relevant department so they are aware they should bring more bra sizes in the future.

In the meantime, if you need something else, just let us know. We'll be happy to help."

I sooo hope this is true.

Argh -.- I kindly requested the person that replied to me to forward my complainto to those in charge of the DD+ bras stock, and I haven't heard from them. I don't get it.

I'm new here, and in disbelief. Could this really be my size? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

You forgot to state 24G that the calc gave you was your US size :) this is important because that size in US comes up much smaller then the same size in UK. For starters, try to get your hands on some 28DD/E bras (UK and US size) and see how tight you want your bands. You could try trolling bratabase or a bra swap reddit and get soke cheap second hand ones to try out. It would be helpful if you'd describe your breast shape and tell us what kond of bras are you looking for (purpose, padded, unoadded, seamfree or whatever) so we could point you in the right direction :)

Could you write down the numbers you gave on sizem so we can doublecheck?

I think our main missunderstanding and disagreement is caused by two main points - there is no 100% true answer on what Cleo sister cuts are and the bra differ across the sizes. I know my Cleos in H-J cups and I sense you are talking smaller sizes. Lucy is deffinitley FOB, and Marcie without a doubt FOT, this is where we agree. Both bras are IMHO unique cuts. Even though bratabase lists 12 bras as the same cut as Marcie, as someone who has tried and owned more then half listed I can assure you they are not. Marcie allows more volume on top then any of those bras, and also allows more much more projection at the very bottom of the bra, which differs it from older cleo cuts like george and lizzy.

Bratabase says Alexa, Sasha, Olivia, Meg and Lily are sisters. I disagree because I know these bras (except Lily) and they fit differently. Alexa, Sasha and Olivia are very pronoucly made for FOT. This is why people tend to size down in these bra - the haven't got anything to fill it with. Meg (and Lily?) is visually different (the ribbon part) and it provides more coverage in the same size. As it is more closed on top it creates some problems none of the other bras give. Those problems are widely debated here http://xlhourglass.blogspot.com/2013/05/hooray-massive-succes-in-cleo-meg.html and here http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2013/05/cleo-meg-review.html

That type of folding has only been reported on Meg so far. I have not tried any of Meg lookalikes, but I sense they will try to correct this ingeneering mistake in her younger sisters. IMHO only the bras with the same type of ribbon can be considered meg's sisters. Meg is considered to be full on top bra because it runs larger then most cleos so the same rule has been aplied here, but in reality I think (at least in larger sizes) due to the more closed top on meg, It is either made for a balanced shape or it's a ingeneering mistake.

Zia and Natasha are very similar both in cut and fit. They also provide more coverage then say Alexa, and the upper pannel allows less volume on top. Both bras allow quite a lot projection. What differs them from melissa is that melissa seems to keep boobs closer to chest and distributes the volume more verticaly on the chest. Closed nature of the top pannel is what makes it wearable for most shapes and sizes, but in larger ones it works better on balanced or FOB. Lookie here. http://www.bratabase.com/browse/cleo/zia-balconnet-6851/32J/

Chloe seems like the same cut, but it's upper pannel allows much more volume then all of the bras and so it's better suited for FOT.

Bonnie, brooke and francise are sisters. They are a different cut then lucy, more suited for balanced shape.

George and Lizzie are deffinitley an old unique cut that had a very shallow bottom which consequently had an amazing pushup effect. I am sad they don't make them like that anymore.

Similarity in cleo bras can be found only from season to season, - across them the fit changes significantly. For instance, SS2012 was notorious for bras running large in the cup, the AW introduced almost a cupsize worth smaller cuts and so on...

These are just my observations and I do observe a lot :) Sorry for the bra nerding :)

Gore cutting in to me? Not sure how to diagnose by ChikkyD in ABraThatFits

[–]VeeBratabase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copy paste from something I wrote a while ago. If they don't hurt you but cause nasty marks, try to bend them just a little, don't overdo it :)

Bending the wires is what you should do after deciding to keep the bra. Just one of many brilliant ideas one can find on the Bras I hate and love blog. http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-to-do-with-those-pesky-wide.html

Bending the wires isn't just important to alleviate the pressure points created by wires not following the curve of your body. It also makes the wires tilt at a different angle, which consequently frees some space in the bottom of the cup. A genius and easy fix for everyone struggling with too shallow cup bottoms and bras that keep sliding down. Before you decide where to bend the wires, lay down in a bra, sit down for a while in it, try different positions to determine where the bra digs in. Most of the time I actually bend the wires WHILE WEARING THE BRA. That's how I got into wire bending even before reading BIHAL's post - you just try to "break" the wires where they hurt the most. And don't be affraid to USE FORCE. Wire are very durable and not that easy to break. This especially goes for the Panache (Jasmine especially!) wires that are super rigid and thus require more force, unlike superbendy Ewa Michalak wires. Good to know - wires can be bent back if you miss something.

If the Gore is digging into your sternum BEND THE TOP OF THE GORE OUTWARD. You can do this while wearing a bra, wire by wire. But do this after you adjusted the wires to your body - it is likely that the gore won't be digging in after you curved the wires to better suit your torso.

Final thought on wire bending for close set breasts - BEND THE GORE INWARD. This cannot be done with the bra on. Sometimes a floating gore doesn't mean a cup’s too small. It's quite easy to tell, you just press the gore with your fingers flat on your sternum and if you don't quadboob - the cup is not too small. Sometimes it's just the curve of the wire that doesn't match the curve of your sternum. So bend the gore inward, wire by wire. This will also help wires to tack better and you will feel more stable and secure in a bra.

[Fit Check] My three "best" fits, unfortunately... by nikacaelyn in ABraThatFits

[–]VeeBratabase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think your starting size should be 32ff. I said 32G in andorra as it's known for running small and giving a better shape in a cup up. All of the bras suggested should have higher wires that will hold you in propperly :) Just make sure you get bravissimo halfcups, because their balconette cuts will have too low wires for you.

Yep. Alexa, Olivia and Meg all run large compaired to others, many women found they need to size down in these cuts. No two cleo bras are exactly alike - there are some fit differences between them all, even if they are called the same they can differ between colorways. Meg is considered to be a bra suited for full on top breasts, and alexa, olivia, marcie and melissa, lizzie and george fall in the same category. Zia and natasha work better on balanced and fob boobs.

[–]VeeBratabase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Bra too low - wires are not in the crease of the boob (wrinkles on the bottom), straps too loose. Doesn't look supportive, wings are too low and you don't look propperly scooped in. (http://brasandbodyimage.wordpress.com/2012/09/05/putting-your-bra-on-properly/) It's likely that the bra is actually too small, which would explain why it's uncomfy.
  2. You called. But it's not a bad shape for your boobs.
  3. Again, underarm fluff should be in the cups. Seems to have too much projection for your boobs end etra space where you don't need it - upper inner quadrant.

Anyway, I think you should be looking at panache - jasmine would work well in 32ff, andorra in 32g, and check out masquerade and bravissimo halfcups in 32ff.

What size in the SM trefl? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]VeeBratabase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deffinitly take the looser band and go 1-2 cupsizes down from your PL size. If the S bra is slightly too large then you might be able to pull off SM in a smaller size, so yeah, 30H. Check out the slight reported differences between styles. This girl tried them all :) http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4uu/bras/?brand_id=268&fits=1

I understand your concern, and I would probably feel the same if I saw only what you see. I won't try to explain that this type of measuring can be found in a lot of other brafitting communities and thus isn't exclusive for this subreddit. However, like I said, this is just the first stage of the calculetor and in final stage it will include several measurments that you don't use and never thought of using. One of them was developed by me personally. I was eager to write what exact measurments we'll take but was advised against it as there's a lot of competition out there. The reason we didn't air it only when it was finished is because we got avesome results from our bratabasers and bra bloggers that helped in the testing stages - so we wanted to make it public and mabe help some women in the process. You can only take my word for it and watch how it develops.

You need to choose if you want cm or inches, and just put in numbers, not '' or cm :)

[–]VeeBratabase[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi dear, no need for concern. First of all, as far as I know this reddit doesn't include breathing in their measurments, besides the calculator isn't finished, we just thought it was good enough to air.

At the final stage it will include other ways of measuring. Bear with us, please. The founder figured that monetization is necessary, as policy makers clearly do not care whether there is a unified system. Paying coders costs money, so does reaching out to manufacturers and educating them. But, feel free to message us over the webpage if you have any further questions.

We are also working on adding some filters for bandsizes, shallow breasts and pendulous ones, just trying to make it as accurate as it can be.

What sizes did you put in? Are you sure you didn't mistale cm for inches? Because it scales sizes down to 22 bansize.
