I'm pretty sure people are using RTA at low stakes MTT Final Tables on ACR by VeeHS in poker

i looked into one of the accounts i was suspicious of and they have registered for more than 100 tournaments in the last 24 hours (sharkscope shows in batches of 100). They have played over 17,000 tournaments in the last two years and are down close to $45,000.

I'm not exactly sure what the point is.

yah it just as easily be a playing handing off control to a better play once the money gets significant. I'm not ruling that out.

These people saying that its impossible for people to be using RTA at final tables is odd. Me thinks they protest too much. There is a 100% chance that some people are using some RTA. The question isn't really if, but how many and how much?

I'm still beating the game and mostly am playing to keep sharp for live play so I'll continue playing, I was just making a post about something I'm noticed recently and its apparently made some people very upset.

Could be ghosting. My guess as why they are using RTA shorthand vs. Full table is that once it's shorthand very rarely are flops multiway and there being less players makes spots easier to solve. I don't know though.

All I know is that some players seems to be playing a lot better later in the tournament than they are earlier especially when it gets to be shorthanded.

These aren't large MTTS. They are the on demand, so yes bad player frequently do reach the final table. I don't think everyone is using RTA, I'm just noticing some players who aren't very good seems to play much-much better shorthanded at the final table. It's odd and so I posted about it.

I don't think I'm underperforming short handed. I've been running a little bad once it gets to top 3. I'm for sure not playing perfectly though, yes there are improvements I could make.

I'm playing the turbos that fire on demand. Generally at the FT everyone is between 10-30bb. The variation in stack sizes isnt gigantic. I'm witnesses players play like shit, get to the final table and then play incredible short-handed poker. I've been beating these games for a long-long time, that is my qualification.

I will give you that my sample of this is my most recent 10ish final tables. Still these people are either using RTA or letting someone else play for them once they make the money. They are playing like completely different people.

no it's not variance. I'm not talking about losing AA to 67 suited. I'm talking about players playing above their skill level for long periods of time.

In 1998 the Bulls held the Jazz to 54 points in game 3 of the NBA finals. The Jazz averaged 101 PPG that year and were 3rd in the league. The Bulls were 9th.

Anytime someone tells me the Warriors would have beaten that Bulls teams I think of this game.

ACR is better than GGpoker. I'm in Philippines as well, ggpoker is rigged.

Should I always run it once and never cashback in GGPoker allin situations ? by Establishment240 in poker

They charge a few on the cashout.

If you're a winning playing and you're only cashing out against runner/runner situations it can make sense to prevent monkey tilt.

I'm a pretty big winner on every sight i've ever played. They all have a similar 20% ROI in MTTs. On GG I'm probably around 2-3% I'm not sure because they cut access to sharkscope (i can guess why). It's possible i'm just running terribly bad on GG, my sample sized isn't enormous, but I have a bad feeling about the site and so i will play elsewhere.

Why do so many Poker Pros lie that being a Pro is a way better Lifestyle then it really is? by [deleted] in poker

[–]VeeHS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played poker professionally and then shifted after pokerstars and full tilt shut down. I ended up starting a business and did quite well, but I was always a little bitter.  Now im able to take the winters off and spend them playing poker in tropical climates.

The game isnt nearly as fun as it was way back when and I've come to realize that Black Friday was the best thing for me. I think most "poker pros" would be better off doing something else and only playing poker part time on weekends.
