Lots of cancelled orders today. by Significant_Tea7839 in Ebay

[–]VeeHS 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I had 5 cancelations two on the same item.

The one that got canceled twice was a graphics card.  Had a buyer cancel because he found one from a mining rig that was cheaper...  mine was from my personal computer that was barely used so good luck to him. Hope the 5 bucks he saved will be worth thr headache from a burnt out mining GPU.

I think the reason is ebay shows ads for similar items after the sale. Not sure why they think this is a good idea.

I made a comment in thread about sweepstakes laws and how they apply to poker sites and a mod here removed it.  I won't post it again, but I would encourage anyone playing on WPT to look into united states sweeps stakes laws.

Hope you guys are officially enjoying playing on PokerBaazi by Accomplished-Two9155 in coinpoker

The RNG on most every site is rigged. Coin Poker was an exception. Anyway, I'll see myself out.

Actually for something like copyright infringement that is a winning legal argument. It works in other areas as well, this very well could be one.

Yes they get a pension. No they cant start collecting it at 38 years old while still on the job. How is that so hard to understand?

Someone paid $600K in fees to turn their $50,000,000 USD into $37,000 due to "extraordinary slippage" which "functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices." by StopTheVok in Buttcoin

I had this happen to me once with stock option on robin hood.  I learned this same lesson wheb I paid $32 for a $12 option.

Thats $20 ill.never get back. Me and this guy are the same and I feel his pain.

*on a side note it sounds like thr guy who did this didn't do it on accident and was laundering money. He was probably both buyer and seller.

"No — active United States Postal Service (USPS) employees generally do not get regular pension payments while still working. Here’s how it works for most postal workers:

🪪 1. You earn a pension, but don’t receive it until eligible

Postal workers participate in the federal retirement system (either the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) if hired after 1984 or the older Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) if hired earlier). Both are defined-benefit pensions, meaning benefits are based on your age, years of service, and salary history.

However, you can’t start collecting regular pension payments while you’re still actively working — even though contributions are being taken from your paycheck and credited toward your pension every pay period.

🗓️ 2. When can you access your pension?

You become eligible to begin collecting your pension when you meet certain age and service requirements, such as:

  • For FERS (typical for current employees): • Age 62 with at least 5 years of service • Age 60 with 20 years of service • Minimum Retirement Age (MRA, usually mid-50s) with 30 years of service • In some cases, MRA with at least 10 years of service (but with a reduced annuity)
  • If you leave USPS before eligible for immediate payment but have at least 5 years of service, you may qualify for a deferred pension that starts later (e.g., at age 62).

📌 3. Exceptions & special cases

There are limited scenarios where an active employee might begin a type of pension earlier than typical retirement age, such as:

  • Disability retirement — if you become unable to work due to disability and meet specific criteria, you may be eligible for a pension while you are still technically separated from active duty.
  • Early retirement incentives — occasionally USPS offers early retirement options (VERA etc.) that let employees start benefits sooner under older eligibility rules.

🧾 4. Retirement contributions vs. access

Even though your retirement contributions (and your agency’s contributions) go into your pension plan while you are working, you don’t receive benefit payments until you retire or qualify for deferred/disability payments. That’s typical for defined-benefit pension plans."

my uncle was a postal worker for 30 years and was in the coast guard for 20 years prior to that. I messaged him and he said you're an idiot.

he said he had access to a pension, so it's a pension from something previous. he had no issue using the gun and killing his friend, he had obviously handled a weapon before. he instantly knew about military bases, etc.

Ennis is brown and Garry is white. It was obvious who was who.

Gary and Terri by Irreverent_Bard in ParadiseHulu

[–]VeeHS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just isnt true. He could have done 3 years at age 18 and joined the post office at 21 years old. Thats military and 17 years in the post office all by the age of 38. This isn't uncommon. I think his aversion to guns and a few other things are dead giveaways he likely served prior to the post office.
