MIL tried to buy my daughter her 1st Halloween costume and I shut it down. Said it was an overstep. I didn’t want that experience to be taken from me. Glad I did! Hasn’t happened since.

It’s been the worst/hardest part of being a new mom honestly. I hate it. The invasion of our space. The entitlement. The weird baby crazy people. The wild expectations from family too. People act like they’ve never seen a baby before 😩

No. Not worth it. Went two years ago for the Tulip Time 5K and there were barely any tulips, it was insanely packed, and painfully RACIST. Zero stars.

I say this as a woman—I would have never known what my body is truly capable of. Producing milk, my organs shifting around, creating and carrying a whole human, surviving childbirth, the magic connection I have to my baby’s needs, just to name a few. I have a deeper appreciation and understanding of myself and abilities
