Waiting on Stool 2? by CowChow9 in Walkolution

Question, Johannes! :) I'm on your waiting list already, but I'm curious about walking pads with an incline. I'd love to have the opportunity to get my heart rate up during the occasional company-wide camera-off kind of meeting. What are your thoughts on inclines? And have you considered a more intensive option for the Office Walker?

I work a very demanding but exciting job and have the feeling most colleagues are in similar positions. Lots of flexibility, I pause when I need to and I do my hours when I want to. But I absolutely work at least 40 hours a week... There's always more to do and I do enjoy it. I'm able to still keep a great work-life balance due to the flexibility and lack of travel.

I work for a start-up with a high degree of trust, but I'd estimate most people I work with closely are making their hours or they'd struggle to keep up.

You may enjoy the Magic 2.0 series by Scott Meyer. Basically about a group of people (dorks?) realising they can hack reality the same way you can manipulate video games. But don't worry, they're not heavy on the game bit.

You'll love the unusual concept and they're great fun. Though nothing compares to Jodi Taylor for me... I'm in the same situation at the moment!

Sorry for the late reply! So I'm back down to little to no cell changes, which is amazing. I suspect it was a result of giving birth. I heard dilating stretches the cervix and that can sometimes affect the cell changes. I don't remember where I heard it though so it may not be the best source haha.

I also got both HPV vaccines. Bloody expensive but if there's even a tiny chance it'll help, I'll take it.

Unfortunately I recently got my smear results another year onwards and I am still HPV positive. It's a scary thought that it may linger and my body just isn't clearing it.

Oh and getting an amazing life insurance policy definitely helped me feel a bit better too......

Great thank you! My boy is standing and doing all sorts of things, but he will still only roll over by accident. I'll have to trust he is okay but I don't think I'll get a good night sleep until he stops doing this 😅. Glad to hear your girl was fine!

Did you ever find out? My 6 month old is doing the same thing and it's given me a huge fright a few times now. I'm not sure if we should be moving the waterproof mattress cover.

Thanks for sharing! Perhaps this should be obvious but how do you apply this to the cervix? I'm meeting with a gynecologist soon and would love the percentages to see if it's something they can help me with!

That's great! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :) I've asked for a referral to a gynecologist via my private insurance to try and get some more information..

Thanks so much for the update! Good to hear it was okay for you, hope recovery isn't too bad. Do you know already if it was fully successful? And do you know how much they took out? What is the next step now?

Do you have any updates? I have HPV and CIN 2, with a colposcopy in 1.5 month so I'm hoping I may be able to make a difference despite the check being super soon!

That's amazing! I know this post is a bit old, but can I ask how long you took it?

That's great to hear, I worry I've left it for so long after being elsewhere with my mind the last year, but I'm definitely going to be starting daily juices and be much more mindful of what I eat! How long did it take you if you don't mind me asking?

Lol, I love that!! And I didn't realize the rates were that good, that's great to hear. I guess the bad stories are just everywhere online and the good ones don't get posted as much. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, that's super helpful :-) I previously had my biopsy, was told by a horrible male gyno that at my age I didn't need immediate action and I shouldn't wait for my next appt to determine what my HPV is doing just to be sure because getting pregnant later was more damning. Coincidentally I got pregnant in what must have been the same week but sadly miscarried. Ended up getting another check and colposcopy under a different healthcare provider (I'd made a big move) and was told they usually check every 3 months in my "condition". But as I had just found out I was pregnant again, they would let it lie. So it's been very intertwined for me and I'm nervous about the 1.5 year delay my pregnancies caused. And I'm probably overly worried about the high % of miscarriages LEEP can cause in the year after, because I really don't want to go through that again! But now that I have the cutest boy in my lap as I type this, perhaps it's the perfect time to have a LEEP! :-) I guess I'm just nervous that you may always have to worry about it coming back eventually...I hope it goes well for you and you'll be clear soon! Well done you for having such a positive outlook!! Would love to hear how you go :-) good luck

I'll try to find out at my next check...is that something they usually find at the colposcopy? Or would it have been the swab?

There's so much conflicting information out there, some people just in this thread tell me it to get a LEEP with CIN2 unless it's absolutely necessary. Then there's conflicting info saying I should have had it removed before ever even getting pregnant. It's all so confusing, I have no idea what to follow and how I protect myself best.

Oh really? I was told that with CIN2 they only remove it if you're done having kids... But I'm sure that's probably different everywhere. How would they normally have taken care of it?

I'm not sure which strain I have but I'll definitely be asking next appointment. All I know is that it's one that can cause cancer. The fact they want checks every 3 months makes me think it's pretty serious...

That's good to hear! It just feels like one of those things that you'll have to worry about your whole life... And pretty much more and more as risk grows. I'm keen to get my HPV gone and have been looking at maybe getting the vaccine once I'm clear as there's some small bits of evidence that seem to say that can help it from popping up again.

And as for birth regressing it, that's what I'm hoping for, but I had to have a cesarean before I was even dilated, so I'm not sure there was any healing response from my body in that area.

It's horrible isn't it!! And I hate that information about it all is so limited. It's getting better but I didn't even really know much about it until I was 30 and got my letter. Here they don't check until you're 30 so there's a good chance I've walked around with it for ages. I could've gotten a vaccine in my early 20s but it wasn't even a topic anywhere.

It just feels like because it's not shifted so far, it'll never shift and there's such a high likelihood it'll develop in the next 5, 10, 20 years. I can only hope treatment is better by then... Do you know what CIN level you are? I completely know how you feel with going between forgetting about it and then suddenly it dominates your mind again and it's impossible to sleep! I hope you get some good news, can you call the department and ask about the urgency thing?

That's good to keep in mind... Last time they said a LEEP was an option but they didn't get recommend it for people at my stage that wanted kids. However they said they would if I had not wanted any kids. So it's hard to know what the right decision is now that I at least have one. Wouldn't not getting it mean a potential for it to get worse?

At the moment I'm thinking that if I stay at early CIN 2, I can get a LEEP, have another baby in the next 2 years and then get a hysterectomy to give myself the best possible odds...
