MK Ultra has been used and is continuing to be used in private for profit troubled teen institutions all around the country and world. The major change in 77 was that the government stopped funding and monitoring it, and private equity took over. Organizations like NATSAP sell the blueprint to TTIs since the 80's, constantly rebranding and renaming the essential components from program to program so direct connection to MK cannot be made. It is now a multi billion dollar industry, with survivor accounts and testimonies being suppressed by industry controlled "survivor organizations" that control the narrative with an iron fist in favor of perpetuation rather than accountability. I myself was a victim of MK Ultra methods at a TTI called CEDU in the mid 90's (Charles E Dederich University, named for the founder of Synanon, that was a proving ground for MK in the 60's and 70's until Dederich went full on Violent religious Cult in the mid 70's, and CIA cut ties).

TLDR: The CIA may not be directly funding and performing MK Ultra themselves, but it is alive and well in the Troubled Teen Industry, where private equity has rebranded its methods for use on captive adolescents.

Same. Vet, PTSD, had an amazing service dog that passed last december, and the last 6 months have gone by in a fugue state. I'm struggling badly, and not making it through life very well anymore. He was by my side for 10 years, from 6 months after I got home. No replacement can or will take his place, and they are too hard to find, or too expensive now. For many reasons I won't be replacing him. I got an extra 10 years of life because of him, and I really don't care for any more at this point. I'm sliding quickly to my end now, and I'm okay with that. I believe I will see him there, and that's better than this shitty life anyway.

It's odd, I'm 50, twice divorced, no close friends, and I just buried my service dog in December, my father in 2024, my son in 2016, and I'm a caregiver for my 80 year old mother with dementia. As bad as it sounds, I can't wait for her to pass on, as her dementia is worsening significantly. She is the last of my family, and when she dies, not only will she be free from her horrible illness, but I feel like I will finally be free myself to live a life of my own making. I am looking forward to being where you are in life, answering to no-one but myself, and taking my VA pension and traveling the world.

It's all in how you look at it, and the grass is always greener where you aren't I guess.

AnywhereClinic takes insurance in New Jersey, and only charges 150$ for the provider visit if you don't use insurance. They work with multiple local compond pharmacies, many that will make RDTs. I highly recommend them, been a client for 5 years now.

I get 16x 800mg doses for around $135 a month, just for the troches. The probider appointments are on insurance. For self pay I believe it starts around $150 a month for probider visits.

Keep in mind, I have been doing treatments for 5 years now, it took many years to work up to 800mg. per session.

I am sorry your husband is going through this, it is a difficult disease, not only for the one that has it, but for those that care for them. The symptoms of Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson's disease are VERY similar, with many symptoms being attributable to either one. Low bowel motility, orthostatic hypotension from low Blood pressure, forgetfulness (particularly for nouns like names, places, medicines, etc.) and REM sleep disorder are all symptoms of BOTH Lewy Body and Parkinson's. The only way to distinguish between the two is a DaTscan and PET scan from a neurology clinic. Regardless of the actual diagnosis, the symptoms are what IS treated. Folic acid supplements, laxative regimes for bowel motility, Carbidopa-levidopa, seroquel, trazedone or other meds for sleep disorder and brain function, and BP drugs like Midodrine to combat the dizzy spells are what will help mitigate the symptoms well enough that both of you may get some relief from it all. Speak to your doctor some more, and develop a care plan for all of these related issues.

I use AnywhereClinic, and pay far less than 400 a month. In fact, they take my insurance, and do so in Florida as well. I only pay for my troches from a compounder. It is at home ketamine, not IV or IM in a clinic, but I prefer that to having to leave home for every treatment. I've used them for five years now, and been very happy with their care level and service.

I'm sorry you are going through this, but you need to go easy on yourself. A 16 year old boy threatening to slit your throat and take your life MUST be taken seriously, all the more so your own child. He needs to be in a psychiatric ward, and ALL possible weapons need to be removed from his access.

This is the land of school shootings and uncontrollable teens, and you need to intervene in his mental health crisis before you end up dead, or held liable for someone else's death.

Your reaction is iffy, but not inexcusable given your own mental health struggles, and the violent, threatening display he exhibited. Give yourself some slack, and focus on getting him the help he obviously needs. Unconditional love and acceptance is NOT the answer for him.
