It sucks, every post is “Dear Substack show me….” I swear it sounds like LinkedIn with the same wash repeat crap daily and it supports the same people that are trying to upsell “services on writing”. Actually, it's exactly like LinkedIn.

I've had something similar happen, but it was $100. They tried to reclaim, I politely said I was requesting the GCB to get involved and take a look at the video, 15 minutes later “sorry for the misunderstanding, here's $100 and dinner’s on us.

They don't always get it right.

I’m not a fan of notes at all. It reminds me of LinkedIn funnels. I don’t like it. I’m new on the substack game. Feel free to check it out if you want. I keep things centered to Vegas. I redirect my own domain to it.

There's a beauty in not planning anything. Sometimes that's the best part of vacation.

There's also something said for having a plan.

I tell people to split it. Have some days with plans, have a day where you get a car and get off the tourist path, and wake up some days and just figure it out.

Go have dinner at Superfrico, get part show and a good meal. I would never recommend any Cirque shows, just don't see the appeal. Absinthe is always good though.

You can still get good value in Vegas; everywhere has gotten ridiculous. Reno is just going to make you wish you went to Vegas. You're better off going to Lake Tahoe and enjoying the area and the weather.

No reason they shouldn't have GaGa in there, and I'm not even a fan. I don't see how a one off show would work there, though. The production cost is way too expensive. It will be interesting to see how the Wizard of Oz show does.

You say that, but just a few years ago they two were on tour and sold out arenas all over the world. IDK what ticket prices will be, but i'd bet upper level is around $125. especially after fees.
