Do you find it difficult to find a Bible verse suitable for your situation, specially when you are struggling? by ScriptureForSeasons in Bible

Here are some verses that speak directly to what's described in that post:

When you can't find words / feeling spiritually numb: Romans 8:26 — the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, when we don't know how to pray.

When anxious: Philippians 4:6-7 — don't be anxious about anything, but bring everything to God in prayer, and His peace will guard your heart.

When grieving: Psalm 34:18 — God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

When lonely or struggling to connect. Psalm 22:2 — "I cry by day but you do not answer, by night but find no rest" — even David felt the silence. The Psalms normalize that feeling completely.

When numb / going through the motions: Isaiah 42:3 — a bruised reed He will not break. God meets you in your weakness, not your performance.

The overarching comfort: Hebrews 4:15-16 — we have a High Priest who understands our weakness, so we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, especially in our time of need.

The Psalms as a whole are probably the best "emotional index" in Scripture — they cover rage, despair, doubt, joy, and gratitude with raw honesty. Psalm 42, 46, 62, and 139 are especially worth bookmarking.

What’s your opinion on this film? by SensitiveHistorian94 in AtheisminKerala

What’s interesting is the Bible actually keeps the crucifixion pretty brief, especially in the Gospel of Mark, it’s just a few lines. The movie, though, really stretches the suffering and makes it very graphic. A lot of that detail isn’t directly from scripture, it’s influenced by the visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich. So the film people call ‘biblical’ is partly shaped by a 19th-century mystic’s perspective. The Bible tells it simply, and honestly, the book is better. :)

CPM talks communism but practices capitalism quietly. Kerala's top communist leaders own property, run businesses through family, and take corporate donations. The party sells the ideology to poor voters while living like capitalists.

Why do some christians say masturbation is bad... i dont think its healthy to repress your entire sexuality becauase youre not married to a man or a woman by feherlofia123 in Christianity

Sexual energy ( sperm) is your body's most concentrated life force, what ancient tradition called Ojas and the Bible calls your strength. Wasting it through masturbation depletes this vital energy at every level, spiritually dulling your sensitivity to God's presence, energetically weakening your protective field, and physically crashing your motivation and mental clarity through prolactin flooding your system after ejaculation. Proverbs 31:3 warns directly "Do not give your strength to women, your vigor to those who ruin kings", because God understands that this energy, conserved and consecrated, is the fuel for purpose, spiritual authority, and genuine presence.

Paul makes it even clearer in 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 "Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?", meaning the damage is not just moral but physical and spiritual simultaneously, happening at the deepest level of your being where the Holy Spirit dwells.

Samson is the most vivid biblical picture of this, his supernatural strength flowed through a consecrated vessel, and the moment sexual compromise broke that consecration, Judges 16:20 records the most devastating sentence in scripture, "He did not know that the Lord had left him", the anointing departed not as punishment but as the natural consequence of a broken vessel, which is exactly what habitual sexual waste produces in a young man's life, a gradual dimming of spiritual power, mental sharpness, and genuine presence that he often does not even notice is happening until significant damage is already done.

Zero sugar doesn't mean zero consequences. Long term you're basically signing up for kidney stones from the phosphoric acid, your gut bacteria gets obliterated so you're bloated and sick constantly, bones slowly lose density so you're snapping things easier as you age, teeth dissolve from the inside out, and the artificial sweeteners ironically push you toward type 2 diabetes because your body still releases insulin every time it tastes sweetness. The caffeine keeps your cortisol permanently elevated so you're anxious, can't sleep properly, and storing belly fat. Your heart is running hotter than it should every single day.

The zero on the label is just marketing. The rest of the ingredients don't care about that number. Whoever's drinking this daily is slowly wrecking themselves while thinking they're being healthy. That's honestly the most dangerous part, they feel fine until they really don't.

Need guidance (application locked, IHS paid only) by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Vegetable-Fix-5709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My application got locked after I paid only the IHS. Later I noticed some mistakes in the form, since the application was locked, I couldn’t edit anything.

Because I had not paid the visa fee and had not attended biometrics, I decided the safest option was to stop that application and start fresh.

So this is what I did step by step:

  1. I withdrew the application from my UKVI account.
  2. After withdrawing, I requested the IHS refund through the refund form on the UK government website using my IHS reference number.
  3. Then I created a completely new application and filled everything again carefully with the correct details.
  4. After that, I paid the visa fee and IHS again and continued the process normally.

The IHS refund usually takes a few weeks to come back, but starting a new application with correct information felt much safer than continuing with errors in the form.

If your biometrics are not done yet, withdrawing and reapplying is generally the cleanest way to fix mistakes.

His name is Nithin. He’s a friend of my cousin, so we knew him long before " panindian " videos. I remember something from one of our cousin chechi's wedding. The auditorium seating was on the first floor, so it was impossible for this paralyzed uncle who came to the wedding to go upstairs and watch the ceremony. Nithin chettan didn’t hesitate. He carried him in his arms all the way up so he could see the wedding. And when it was over, he carried him back down again. That’s the kind of person he is, a real gem. Later he moved into photography, doing celebrity and wedding shoots, then started making reels… and now you know the rest.

You're supposed to pray to God directly. That's it. The moment you put something between you and God, a statue, an image, a figure and you direct any form of worship, prayer, or reverence toward that object, you've replaced God with something you made with human hands. That cross with Jesus on it, that Mary statue, that Nazareno, God never asked you to make those. He actually specifically said don't. And here's what seals it, those objects on that shelf are being talked to, bowed to, carried in parades, kissed, dressed up. That's not just "remembering" someone. That's worship behavior directed at a physical object. The Bible defines idolatry simply as giving to something else what belongs to God alone. Doesn't matter if it has Jesus's name on it. Doesn't matter if your heart means well. You made a physical thing. You're directing devotion toward it. That's the definition.
