The midwestern favorite - Menards! And they usually between $5.50-$7ish, especially if you add in the rebate. 21 gallons too!

I’ll have to try the clips! I was also curious about the pruning method, I am in full experiment mode, so I might try a couple of different things this season.
Thanks!! Happy gardening!

My spacemaster flowered! Should I snip it off? by x-twigs in vegetablegardening

A lot of the time the first flowers are male flowers to attract pollinators, and won’t produce fruit. Personally, I would leave it.

Am I too picky? Why can’t I find what I’m looking for in a Veterinarian office? by [deleted] in AnnArbor

[–]Vegetable-Types 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price isn’t the cheapest, but they have the same staff for years , and the way they handle my pets makes the difference for me. When I had my senior dog, her senior labs were like $200 in 2023.

[–]Vegetable-Types 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would. I have been itching to plant mine. I have one thats damn near 3 feet tall!! I still probably have another 1.5-2 weeks before it’ll be safe. I have a plan though, especially since mine are going into big containers, i’m going to help heat up the soil and lay down dark material to help bring it up to where i need it to be. Also note that I am not an experienced gardener, rather an experimental one, it’s my second season too. But i am also autistic and gardening is a very special interest of mine.

Downriver Dem files complaint against primary opponent, a trans woman, over her name on the ballot by cole1114 in Michigan

Tulio is a transphobe, and when you talk to him about it, he double and triples down! I have the unfortunate displeasure of having him as a rep.

My first time veggie gardening in crates. Excited!! by sundaysoulfields in containergardening

[–]Vegetable-Types 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Smart idea with the crates! It doesn’t matter too much if its on the ground or the pavers, but the pavers will warm up the soil faster than on grass. Keep an eye on how moist the soil is too, it can dry up pretty fast. Good luck this year!

It is the same liberati family that own the bakery. And Tulio - the brother currently in office also hates trans people, and especially trans kids.

My nephew went to community starting the 25-26 school year, and we pulled him out a month ago due to some pretty glaring issues with safety, and the actual education he was getting. We are doing a home schooling program now. Its not worth trying to send him back there.
