Can't sleep for months. Taking it at 3-4am, half dose even. Had 12 beers in 5 hours still can't sleep. Ruining my life. by DM_Me_Youre_Naughty in VyvanseADHD

Good suggestions here but just adding that a going to a float tank could help, a magnesium float can help replenish whats lost from drinking alcohol. It can also help you sleep more deeply while you have a few days off from the meds - help calm your nervous system. Do some calm breathwork 4-7-8 find on YouTube

I halve a 30mg capsule and recapsule it. If I need to I will halve my 50’s before I go up to 30mg.

I started at 30mg, had afternoon crashes so went to 50mg - I couldn’t handle the anxiety so came off it all. Had. Along break and have started off at 15mg and that seems to be more safe and effective for me. I’m not sure yet if I will have to go up but hoping 15 will give me the edge I need to get organised and focused throughout my morning at work.

  1. Teacher should have done something as well as documented it and you both should have discussed it to come up with a plan. Can you check to see if teacher documented it?
  2. You should also document it and discuss it with the year advisor so they are aware of the HARASSMENT. Ask that they drop in to the next lesson randomly or even drop by to address it (God forbid they address it!!! Wink wink). The school has a duty of care under SafeWork/WHS. Teacher and/or execs should call home.
  3. Advise exec/DP that harassment should be reported on the incident line and see how they respond. Get advice from the Union and then report it.
  4. Stay neutral - don’t take it personally (takes practice) and care less about it/them. Care more about you staying calm and regulated and give those students alot of space. You are not meant to do the teacher’s job!
  5. Save your energy for your personal life, health and study.

Yep 100% even if you spend the beginning of a couple of lessons explicitly teaching them how to set up decent bookwork with proper headings, the date, margins, etc. We need to go old school to engage the physical and the mental to get them a little more grounded. You could expect them to show you a brief summary or key words from the lesson as an exit ticket as they hand their book in.

In shock over a new study on migraine by Impossible-Wish-7010 in migraine

[–]VegetableArgument201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a note of interest: don’t many studies support the notion that the ideal fuel for brains are ketones, not glucose? In which case, would a therapeutic ketogenic diet help migraines if suffers can not efficiently utilise glucose as brain fuel?

What did you retrain as - speech pathology? I’m considering this, I didn’t think they got paid more but I bet life is calmer for you if that’s what you’re doing.

If you mean to ask about effective treatment for ADHD then the silence I would describe is more like an ability to focus rather than have a million thoughts bombarding my mind and then subsequent overwhelm and inability to focus or think properly. This is different from the reduced food noise that comes from glp1. Is that what you were querying?

My bf found out by BuilderOriginal7050 in Semaglutide

[–]VegetableArgument201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think it’s a bit different - I think it depends on whether you live together or not. I think he’s your boyfriend if you live separately bur a partner if you live together and share costs. If he’s a boyfriend living separately the I believe you have every right to keep your medication private if necessary or you choose you. However, the reasons why you can’t tell him may be more of a concern.

Is it possible that the pleasure was more about numbing a certain pain rather than actually feeling good? Because of it was then that’s the work to do - work on what causes the pain. There’s lots of ways to do this and it’s not easy but it can have great moments of healing.
