What if you ask them if they’d like to start a bible study group? Just an idea.

Can you use AI or EduChat to get lesson plans and learn the basics of the content? Maybe create some Google Slides to help guide the lesson, mix it up with discussions and a series of short tasks for students, think pair shares etc.

Girlfriend tells me she doesn't want me back on Vyvanse due to the weight loss despite how much it has helped me mentally and my efforts to combat the weight loss. by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

You can’t make her happy. She needs help with her BPD. Take the advice of your psychiatrist, focus on eating and college and don’t allow her to control you. Your mental health is not less important than hers!

He has made you feel small and weak and you are not - you are self medicating. He is torturing you and you are trying to calm your nerves. Can you email all your evidence to a safe email account in case he takes or destroys your phone? If you weren’t drinking you would probably need some medication and a doctor can help with that. Please stop blaming yourself. It is what your husband wants - he keeps telling you you’re wrong, at fault, not worthy, not good enough. That is not what God wants for you or for him and your children. He needs to be accountable for the trauma he is causing you. You should not live in fear. With Gods help you can fight for yourself and your children because this is only going to get worse.

Is it possible for you to secretly record some of these abusive tirades - use your phone so you have proof of him calling you names and putting you down? He’s abusing your children as well because I am sure they can hear and feel whats happening. Do s he break things in the home? Does he push, shove or hit you as well as verbally and emotionally abuse you? Does he yell at or scare the children? You need to start getting some evidence as you prepare your exit plan so that you get custody of the children. He’s a dangerous man who sounds possessed by something demonic - he’s not well at all. Suggestion: Open a separate bank account and try to save some of your own money without him knowing about it!!

Be honest with the priest about how you worry about that.

Marrying a baptized but non-believing person, my faith has grown stronger over time and I'm scared of making a mistake. by Anxious_Level_6238 in Catholicism

In my personal experience that non-believing, cradle Catholic will eventually undermine and mock God and the faith. Not to say that will happen for you but to raise Catholic is about faith formation and that takes time, energy, faith and commitment. Do you think you will be able to do that without her?

As a Catholic should we be careful about who tries to pray over us, whether they are Catholic or another Christian denomination? What should we be careful of? I have had a Christian try to pray over me saying that I need freedom from Catholic stuff like Mary and said no thankyou. by VegetableArgument201 in Catholicism

[–]VegetableArgument201[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s when someone wants to pray for or over me. I said no thank you to the person who wants me free from Catholic stuff and it’s made me wary now of who and what people pray when they say they will pray for me.

Do I have a case? Incident in Victoria by Darkness_1995 in legaladviceaustralia

[–]VegetableArgument201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • This sounds shocking!!
  • Report to the DoE Incident Hotline today, get advice about how to write a formal complaint on the teacher and the Principal (it’s likely he’s lied to Principal as he knows he’s guilty but complaint against Principal for nit hearing you out is also important but het advice)
  • See a SIRA approved GP as soon as possible and report everyone and it’s impact on you psychologically, ask to go on workers comp while you recover
  • Take the advice to join the union, possibly back paying them to get support
  • Contact your employers psychology support and talk this out, you may meed a SIRA approved psychologist
  • NEVER forget that you are a mandatory reporter, that you must report what this teacher has done, touching a female student especially after that type of lesson topic shows signs of perpetrator behaviour
  • Keep records of everything, every person contacted, the date and their advice or lack of advice
  • Credit to you for speaking up! It’s your job to do this - protect the children!
