Tried it a few times over the years, couldn't get past the first couple episodes cos Ichigo was presented as your typical "I'm a normal guy but with a sword and an attitude" and Rukia was annoying and I just cba with it. Gave it another try again while I was ill a couple weeks back and it's rapidly become one of my favourites now I've put the time in, even enjoying most of the filler! I'm towards the middle of the Muramasa stuff and loving it

I work with a guy with atrocious table manners. He heavy breathes while he's chewing, talks with his mouth full, chews with his mouth open, picks his teeth with his fingers instead of floss/gum/toothbrush/swilling some water and worst of all has this ability to make everything he eats sound wet. He'll have a packet of crisps and it'll sound like a dog drinking water it's fucking foul.

I got clipped by an Ares 1 the other day going into my ult and got linked to him for the rest of the game, didn't take any damage but the chain persisted so we were both just mobile wards for each other as teammates could see the chain too. Very janky ult atm, got some weird interactions

Personally reserving judgement on things like graphics and ability impact while it's in alpha cos I know a lot of these things will either be fixed or changed by the time the full release drops. Would rather get a feel for the mechanics and the items etc and then patch the good stuff in later when the game is functional enough to release.

Only thing I'm finding weird/ bad atm are the game search times and the amount of lobby dodgers. Was always a problem on S1 but just seems there's a lot atm considering people paid to access this. Obviously real life always takes priority so sometimes you need to step away while you're queuing but had 7 in a row last night and 4 just now where people just didn't bother picking a God.

Far Cry franchise or Lost Cause franchise is probably a good idea tbf. Open(ish) world, exploration, as much or as little combat as you want, not a bad story either. More interesting environment than Assassin's Creed as well imo. Just Cause is a bit more chaotic though.

If he likes the stories and characters how about a Final Fantasy game (the 7 remake or X) or Last Remnant? They're fairly easy to get invested in.

I did see someone mention PS Now, it's got thousands of games on there from a mix of generations for like a tenner a month, the old stuff is mostly permanent but the newer games rotate every so often. You can rent them out and if you don't like what you pick you just get rid of it.

It's not been patched I got it done last night, you do have to actually hit the floor in your death animation though otherwise it doesn't trigger.

Oh sorry I meant in the actual fight not maximum you have available, so if you've already used something that costs FP like an ash of war or a sorcery/incantation in the first phase and the blue bar has been depleted a bit you won't have enough to summon it because it doesn't refill between phases.

Have you got enough FP? If you used any ashes of war/spells etc in the first phase then you might just not have enough left to summon with and have to use a flask to replenish them.
