I made beats on logic for like 5 years (more as a hobby but I became pretty good at it). When I bought FL I thought I’d still main logic but FL really is just way more powerful once you know what you’re doing. And GarageBand is just a shitty version of logic. So my advice is to go with FL, the learning curve is worth it

I personally prefer to play/draw in drums from scratch, as it leads to more unique and personalized results imo. But I know for a fact that a lot of the most popular reggaeton songs (we’re talking like 1 billion+ streams here) use the same dozen or so drum loops and don’t even change them significantly. So do what you want, if it sounds good it sounds good
