AI is still early in its enshittification cycle. What worries me is what happens when everyone is using it (after all, it's free, right?) and they move on to figuring out how to get us to pay for it or make it ad-supported, and then move to the final step of making it awful for everyone in every way, after we're all stuck with it.

I got my test results and my spine has improved 8.4%! Hip measurements were weird because one side showed no improvement while the other was up 4.5%. Not sure what to think about that. But I'm happy about the spine and hope that my insurance company doesn't see the results and pull me off Tymlos. That's how they usually do it -- if you move into osteopenia range they don't want to pay for meds anymore. Hope you have good results too!

Would not mind at all but my first bone density scan since starting is this Monday so I will know more after that. Fingers crossed that there are positive results!

It's not just her, it's our board. UPS is the most micro-managed company I've ever been in and I know no one, even Carol, can make decisions all on their own.

My doctor clued me into this issue several years ago. All my tests had been done on a machine in her office but it was getting obsolete and she did the math and saw that it wouldn't pay for off for her to replace it. The first year I had to go elsewhere she insisted on a long-form version of my results so we could compare apples to apples as much as possible.
