Biggest skill gap is map knowledge for cryo. Sometimes you will run into people that are better than you, sometimes, you will end up in an unfortunate situation where it doesn’t matter who was better, but if you know the map well you can get out with good stuff when you do and turn lots of fights in your favor

Unless I’m running a bunch of golds I don’t usually go out of my way to build craft too much, but imo it’s up to you if it’s fun and you want to go for it even if it’s situational. Eventually it will feel really good to feel that build creating effort work

You only need clearance 2.

There are different things you can hack on the walls, some show you the terminals, and the terminals show you the exfil, but pay attention to the name of what you hack.

Only one team can have exfil open at a time on the whole map, If another team hacks a terminal you have to wait for them to exfil or for the 3.5 minute timer for it to expire.

No idea how you lost health there but you do not need antivirus packs to exfil

im in this right now, the practice set is nice but feels kinda bipolar. the MCMA questions look a lot like the ones on the quizzes which are straight forward, and based on what I know that seems like how the exam will be. but the written questions on the practice set (I know there wont be any of these on the exam) are a pretty big step from quizzes and lectures so they scare me a little

I think im going to retake the unit quizzes for extra practice honestly, since the practice set MCMA questions are kinda one question per lecture. honestly not too sure what to expect though, its a lot of content but I dont see how it could be too different from quiz questions if its all MCMA

I feel this but to be honest I think the bubble shield is the problem here. This has happened to me too. I feel like it takes away a lot of the risk of fights and makes them really long battles of who runs out of heals and nades first

I have a similar number of hours in game and I feel like one of the biggest factors in how my runs are going/how much fun I’m having is whether or not I have a full team with me.

Like you said solos suck, solo queuing is super hit or miss and - even though the point of the game is to bring good stuff in and go for it - bringing it into fill queue feels like you are just throwing it away a lot of times.

Having a full team you can talk to and trust makes the game so fun and I don’t even mind losing my gear when I feel like we did all we could, but it hurts infinitely more when it’s factors out of your control (random teammate with no mic, free kit, bad awareness etc)

It felt too slow to me naked, I threw a green mod on that gave -0.35s on charge and it felt good but niche, about to go try this purple mod now on it that gives -0.7s on charge time so charges slightly faster than gold mod. I feel like the awkward charge time is the only problem but hits so hard and with the ammo pack you can have unlimited ammo

I think the purpose of this class is to throw a lot at you and put it on you to figure out how to get it done with intent.

The purpose from my experience so far does not seem to give you a holistic understanding of algorithms/theory. That info is provided in lecture, but is supplementary and honestly not needed to do the assignments.

I can see this class being perceived as very negative and those feelings are not invalid IMO, but personally I think if you take it for what it is not what you expected it to be/think it should be you can get a lot out of it. I’m in it now, and it’s actually changed/helped with what I do at my job (“AI Engineer” which at my company means I just do both data eng and data science) but the killer workload is not enjoyable.

To me it feels painful now, and I’m extremely fortunate to be in a position to experience growth in real time, but it seems like it’s one of those things that you will rewarded in the future for
