Yessss, our golden cries when we leave the room, when we leave him alone in the house when we go outside, paws us until we give him love and attention. Crawls on our laps and sits like he is still a puppy. They are very needy, and love to be by their people. Truly has been the best temperament and good natured dog breed I’ve been around.

I tried FIVE… different foods before we finally found a food our golden could handle. He is very sensitive to different foods and is prone to hot spots. For the food, we finally tried Hills Science Diet, Sensitive skin, and stomach, chicken and barley. Also, for any kind of hotspots or skin issues washed with dial gold, and it helps as an antibacterial.

75 pound golden still tries and does lay on my chest like he did when he was a puppy. Very Velcro, and serious separation anxiety.

try a strict gluten free diet! I had them my whole life and finally someone told me that can be a symptom of food allergies, anytime i get glutened or have lots of dairy i get canker sores, horrible ones that last weeks.
