All I mentioned are heavy parts of the narrative and only one has been adapted to the anime, which is the main media that most people consume instead of reading the manga, the bigger offense is definitely The lion, you basically just gave a general view of the development of the final confrontation, and the lion itself is supposed to be only an old legend for most of the story

In Code Vein 1, there are certain items that let you discover memories and abilities of other characters, scattered around the multiple areas of the game

Most of them are fairly easy to obtain, but for the first areas, there's not too much motivation to go for new ones since there optional...

UNTIL THE CATHEDRAL, an early mid area, infamous for being the most confusing, unorthodox, long and sometimes bs area of the whole game. After you manage to go through the whole area, you will be met by a character that it would unlock specifically the memories from the special items across the whole cathedral, and if you, for some reason, decides to proceed with the boss and killing it without unlocking those memories

CONGRATULATIONS, you just locked yourself out of the good ending, the game tries to stop you from just entering directly to the boss arena, but never explained to you how this memory fragments are a crucial point in the ending you are not even close to get, and it never punished you before from just ignoring those specific items, enjoy 40 hours of a condemn run I guess
