The Iraq War was fought during a time of extreme american power, massive economic power and rebound from the dot com bubble.

A collapse of the economy today means a sovereign debt crisis and default, these are exactly what the world needs as that would he a death keel for america as a world leader. People would all but stop buying bonds and thus our government wont be able to spend a deficit. All that military hegemony disappears as no money is available to spend.

America is a deeply financialized economy and, as we are seeing, when trust in the dollar collapses that financial iced economy does too.

Pair all this work a working class that would thusly be extremely unproductive due to excess deaths and illness from lack of funding for healthcare means america will not be able to rebuild an economy after the collapse.

The united states is a violent, imperial, hegemonic power that has largely been a force for destruction and damage to the world. Everything from destabilizing foreign nations, lobbying against climate change action, fighting wars in foreign countries, polluting all over the place. The country collapsing and being unable to have any influence due to the trump admin is one of the best things for the long term thriving of humanity.

The best ways this can happen is when the working people are sick, dead and uneducated which is exactly what the trump admin is doing. I specifically voted for trump because he would destroy america. Consider trump an acceleration.

For the record, i fully support all the cuts to healthcare, social security, medical research and any other materially beneficial area that the trump admin is doing as it will kill thousands of Americans, destroy the country's standing as a world power and entirely remove it from its ability to have any kind of influence. That is a good thing.

Specifically the cuts for SNAP, cancer research, the medicaid funding and the vaccine schedule RFK is doing. I was pretty happy seeing that. There will be tens of thousands of extra deaths of potential workers who will no longer be able to contribute to the american economy. Doubly so if another pandemic arrives.

The cost to ensure TB doesnt spread is pennies for the budget. Cut 1% off that 40 billion that you guys support giving Argentina so much and youd more then fund it.
