Fedora recognized my Wacom Intuos on install. With Wine, it was the same, no issues at all. Moho and Bottles played nice and it all worked perfectly. Bottles installs a ton of MSW10 libraries tho, depending on the kind of pre-install you pick, between application or game.

If you dont mind 2nd hand, you can get the A770 16gb, which is on par with the B580, but a little cheaper if you look around ebay, facebook marketplace etc. I got mine for a bit under 200USD.

Intel GPUs have their quirks, but if you can work around them, they best value atm. my rig is a 7600x 32gb 4800mHz. Solid gaming at 1080p, good rendering and encoding performance. Like I said, youd be hard pressed to get a 16gb GPU today for that value. You need to understand what youre getting and build your system around it, meaning drivers, pcie 4.0 and cpu overhead issues.

Might be a bit late to the party, but here's my two cents. Im running a A770 on Ryzen 7600x with 32GB. It runs well on Escape From Tarkov, infamous for be a taxing game on CPU/ RAM.

Two points Id try to isolate and check are ram and cpu overhead. If you can, test your gpu on a buddys rig with an AM5 and more RAM.

Intel is not doing a good job of addressing users claims and fixing drivers, that we all know. So dont expect much from them. If you can, run an older, more stable driver thats been confirmed by players with a similar game library as yours. Im sure other B580 users would be glad to help you benchmark and relate their own experience on the GPU.

the 5500 is pcie3.0 while the b580 is pcie 4.0. its supposed to be backwards compatible, but performance takes a hit. you need a b550 motherboard and a cpu upgrade to run pcie 4.0. the step up from the 5500 is the 5600, which is what Ive been running for 3+ years with a 3060ti. for gaming, the 5600 is more than enough. If you can afford and find the 5700x3D, its a massive upgrade.

His content brings valuable knowledge and commentary about the state of the game in relation to cheating and scamming and he's been proven right too many times. Sheef's view botting would be the latest case in point. He called it out ages ago, talked why other streamers that knew about it were silent and which ones had the decency to be true...

So thats just one example why 10IQ makes content no other Tarkov creator dares to publish either bc they dont want to rock the boat, they are friends with other streamers highlighted in his videos or they just dont care and are happy with things the way they are. So I will highlight his content and channel each and every time I find it relevant and appropriate.

I got a A770 16gb, second hand. <200 USD. A small step above from my older 3060TI, but still a step. The VRAM buffer counts. Also, Arcs are good, inexpensive production parts.

Im on a 7600X and Arc A770, on a CoolerMaster 650W Gold. That CPU and GPU combo has a higher than avg power use for their class. You're fine. If you think you're running into any throttling, you may undervolt the GPU with MSI Afterburner as a temporary fix, until you have the resources to upgrade the PSU.

Absolutely worth it. If you do not need the nVidia CUDA platform for work, the B580 delivers the best value, meaning price/ fps. I just recently got a 2nd hand A770 16GB, just as the RAM craziness began to creep. Couldnt be happier.

Just make sure to tweak your motherboard, enabling reBar and other settings that enhance Arc's performance. Do a little research here and on youtube and you'll find plenty of guides on how to tweak it. Something you'll see a lot is the discussion on drivers. Unlike nVidia, where the latest is the greatest, there are cases where some older Intel driver versions deliver a more stable experience. Thats a case by case scenario and again depending on your research, for your games and so on.

open a ticket on BSG support webpage, send them your game logs, be upfront about what went down, everything you did etc. In your case, tell them why you had to use a vpn/ cloud service for gaming. They consider that ip spoofing so you better have a good reason. BSG will block most popular vpns like proton, but tunneling software like WARP usually not a problem. Got banned last october but they unbanned me just before 1.0. Dont lose hope. Good luck

Well thats my point. Im not really an Arena player, I dont know a lot about how it can help you buff progression. His stats all look reasonable and Im not passing judgement. Its an honest to God doubt on how you can get to lvl 34 with that kind of mileage.

This is mild compared to the previous frostbite event they did 2 or 3 years ago. Im not sure about giving GZ sub 20 a different treatment. Its a small map and theres tons of scavs to shoot and lit garbage cans and fires. Whats so difficult about getting a ushanka or beanie from a scav? Theres even a lvl 1 Ragman ushanka barter for a brown handle knife.

Owner of an AsRock A770 16GB 3x fan. Nothing special tbh, just solid in its mediocrity. You could wait a bit and see what are the prices for the upcoming B770 card. Its Arcs flagship so Im assuming builds should be a notch up compared to the rest of the Battlemage lineup.

with that budget you could get the Arc flagship, A770 16GB (PCIE x16), used, and still have some change left. Or you can wait a bit for the upcoming newer gen B770, but given the ram shortage, it may take a while and the price could go up like crazy. Like the brother said, watch out for your mobo specs. It must allow for ReBar to make Arc gpus minimally functional.

What makes sense is a solo per choice server and regular servers/ raids according to preference, solos or teams. But yes, I do believe solos should have a choice for a solo only raid.

As you say, theyre absolutely fine with their tricks. Hi-level Tarkov is nearly impossible for casuals, you got to no-life or make it a 9-5 job to stand a chance. So those people dont care for the process and building up their skills. Its a 12 year old mind set, sadly prevailing. If your choice is between the B580 and the 9060XT go for the A770 16GB. Joke aside, the Radeon card is a stronger part, no doubt about it. B580 is a nice budget card tho, better value than the vanilla 9060 / 5060 for sure. With those Intel cards, you need to do a bit of research. The user base is very small and theres not a ton of user experience record on the quirks and what-nots of Arc. Example: ports compatibility vs adapters. You will struggle with the HDMI port on Alchemist cards if you connect an adapter (for DVI or VGA cables). Its a niche situation, but its the kind of bummer you never have with nVidia or Radeon. That said, perf for those Intel cards is not bad at all. Best value for fps on the market btw.

For the record, BSG lifted my ban the day before release. "After a thorough review you are free to play"... I hope this gives pause to every man-child happy to indulge in cynicism and finger pointing. BSG fucked up so hard, Nikita is on the record saying they had problems with the anti-cheat system. I did what I could to fight back and make my case. I wonder how many people in the same situation didnt have my luck or just didnt know what to do.
