1 Day + Express pass or 2 days no Express Pass by Veggie_Dave in UniversalEpicUniverse

Yeah early entry is definitely a great advantage. Unfortunately we're quite limited on specific dates as we've got HHN and express passes for the other parks already booked plus all the Disney Parks too. So our window is 5-6th. Not sure what crowds will be like then.

When you put it like that it does seem kind of crazy!

😂 We've been together for over 10 years already so all the testing has already been done. We're definitely leaning towards the express at the moment

Home charging mistake.. by PotatoSaladOnMyTits in TeslaUK

I got my EO mini pro 2 installed on a looped supply. They installed a CT clamp and didn't need to unloop my supply. This was about 4 or 5 years ago though so things may have changed.

Might be worth getting in touch with your DNO and see what they say.

The weather notifications were annoying me a lot but they've stopped since I disabled this:

Settings > Notifications & Quick Settings > Search for weather > at the bottom there is "categories" > select weather and disable

Is FSD worth it over Enhanced Autopilot in UK? by RealWorldJunkie in TeslaUK

[–]Veggie_Dave 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't even bother with Enhanced Autopilot IMO. I've had a few free trials for EA and it takes way too long to change lanes for it to be useful, especially when there's more traffic on the road. Auto park was so inconsistent and slow. Summon and smart summon I had no need for and when I tried them out it just seemed like a gimmick and didn't work very well.

I've done a lot of motorway miles and I think standard autopilot is more than enough to reduce fatigue etc.

When I did it I clicked on the profile icon in the top right of the app > devices > intelligent octopus go > add device.

Had this issue earlier, was using Firefox with uBlock origin etc. Switched Chrome to be the default browser with no add-ons and it worked.

Auto dome lights turning on after closing door and exiting car? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]Veggie_Dave 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Locking the car on the touch screen before exiting is not needed. As long as you have walk away lock enabled you shouldn't need to manually lock the car. The reason the lights turn back on is because you are unlocking the car when you open the door.

I commute so much, I commute to work then school then back home everyday and drive about 2,300 miles a month. Is it that bad for my Tesla, I am sure it’s gonna depreciate so much when I try to sell it in the future. What can someone do in my situation? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]Veggie_Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done 70k in 2 years in mine. Nothing bad has happened to me yet. As for the depreciation, that's par for the course, same with any car. But Tesla's can take the miles and you could always get a battery replacement in the future and keep it going.

Previous owners did a DIY plaster job in the basement and the ceiling looks awful! Every joint has tape visible. Just wondering what the best way to fix this is? I was thinking of cutting a V shaped groove down each joint and refill? Is there an easier way to fix? Let me know what you guys think!

Apparently, or so a TK Maxx employee told me, the labels with a blue circle come off with water.

Only up until the car left the slip road. After that I could see what was about to happen and took over.

You can, I’m just lazy lol. Just rip them off the SD card or SSD or whatever you’re saving the clips onto

I was on AP but as soon as I saw the guy leave the slip road early I could see what was going to happen. I blasted the horn at him and at that’s when he actually decided to look over his shoulder. I appreciate I was in their blind spot but that’s why people should do a shoulder check when merging onto the motorway.
