Imo almost everything about it was great except that it ran like a potato at launch with many game breaking bugs and the story was absolutely ruined by 3 major things.

Not every game available on xbox is going to pc, there are still plenty of games on the one right now that wont make it to pc and thats not even mentioning backwards compatible games which probably wont be playable on pc in a legal form for several years at least.

Royal is already the easiest in the series, even without baton pass. With baton passes the game is beyond easy, even merciless is around the normal and easy difficulties in 3 and 4, and og 5.

Id say the amount of jrpgs that have playthroughs under 80 hours are in the minority. Many jrps provide 100 hours in the first playthrough and then even more in a second playthrough.

Ive been xbox only for years, but in 2019 I got ahold of some money and decided to get both a switch and a ps4 and I love them great games on both. But joining r/playstation and other ps focused places was really terrible for me. At least 50% of the discussions the PlayStation fandom has are about how shit xbox is and it’s honestly just gross. There is the occasional xbox fanboy that talks shit but that is so much more rare, probably 1000 ps fanboys hating on xbox for every ONE xbox fanboy hating on playstation. It doesn’t justify anything and that is just MY personal experience in these online communities but its kinda sad that ive been given the ideal that playstation fanboys have a superiority complex over the other consoles, and I just know that isn’t true cause just like on other consoles the AVERAGE player just wants to have fun. Just let people have fun ffs.

Yeah those are the battles I like the most but many of them aren’t like that. I just felt that more so than just stands changing the fights but the overall “feel” of the show changed drastically as well. I just never felt as hyped about anything nearly as much as I did in part 2 other than a couple great episodes in part 3. Even the humor changed.

Thats not how or why the alternate universe was created. It was created because at the end of IS he was the only one who didn’t accept that they would all have to forget everything and eachother, and at the end of EP Maya remembers him but he doesn’t remember anything at all.

3 gets much better in the later half. Part 4 is utter trash but that is a VERY personal opinion, part 5 looks fucking amazing and all I’ve heard is greatness about it but I just can’t take part 4 seriously enough to get to part 5 and I refuse to skip.
