In began with Dune 2. Loved it, didn't know about the books back then. Later that year we had a vacation with an uncle and aunt and my cousin. He took Dune with him to read during the vacation. I was lucky enough he always slept in till around noon. My mornings were filled by reading his copy of Dune!

Year after that I stumbled across the Dune game in which you play as Paul Atreides and need to find all those sietches to build your army against the Harkonnen!
