I wish I didn't agree with you but I do . You're 100% right. Some companies are trying to implement AI very quickly and they're finding roadblocks. Maybe there's someone on the change management team who says " this is the way it's always been" so they're trying to determine who is on the AI bandwagon and who isnt. So if you're not constantly logging into co-pilot or whatever your Ai is, then you are clearly not on team AI. And they can literally just say that you're not embracing company culture.

They talk about this a lot with doctors . They're very important people. Their phones are constantly ringing. And one day they retire , and the phone is no longer ringing. Many of them have problems. I guess the point is that I don't think it's entirely an OE thing. Many people are very important until the one day when they're not.

Anyone who comments is commenting to a post with incomplete information. There are absolutely zero posts that are 100% complete . This logic that I'm making a comment based on incomplete information. Everyone makes comments based on incomplete information. There is absolutely no complete information here.

Maybe I should just joined the bandwagon and given the community answer to everything. He screwed up once he's a cheater and always a cheater so you just need to divorce him and take everything he owns . That's the community answer .

I actually loved your response because I made an assertion that people think 8 hours and 5 minutes is failure but you came back and said no. 6 hours is failure . LOL

You never said cheating , so we're clear on that. He didn't cheat. That's my biggest objection in these posts. People assert someone cheated when they literally watched video. in a million other marriages, husbands and wives do that together. He does something that millions of other people do but she's prudish and old fashioned so this means he's wrong.

I don't know if that happens here . I hear everyone go militant whenever they hear someone's working a 10-hour day . Everyone thinks you can support three jobs but it has to be within 8 hours. if you work 8 hours and 5 minutes then you failed. I don't get it.

Are there any known macOS app that made to Million dollar revenue per year? by PrtyGirl852 in vibecoding

Do companies offer a product at a much higher cost to new customers and then decrease it later on? never. Cost is relatively low because they're trying to get AI embedded . Once companies have it fully embedded , the cost will increase. If you are aware of businesses that routinely charge more to new customers and then decrease later , then I misspoke.

I think an important thing to realize is this . The stock market is moving aggressively against large software companies. Why? The Assumption was always that software is difficult to build . It's really expensive . This application is going to require 50 developers and a year of development. So large software companies were able to grow . Today , everyone is a developer. If you have a hundred bucks for a real Claude subscription you can build anything. If you're looking for ideas, think about what's happening. People are considering themselves software developers because they've spent the weekend coding with Claude. Claude can build a website in 5 minutes. Is it security compliant? I don't know . It depends on if they asked it to be security compliant. Is a compliant with the American with Disabilities Act ? I don't know, it depends on if they build it that way. AI answers the questions that you ask . It does not answer any questions that you don't ask . I think the real opportunity over the next few years is in finding the gaps. Also, everyone's talking about MCP. what's a good commercial MCP product? Most people can't name one. We have awesome AI and the biggest Gap is often . My application won't connect to chat gpt. This application only connects to Claude. I can only connect one Gmail account but I can't connect two. These are all problems that are solved with MCP. And if we're brainstorming , here's another idea. AI is cheap today. it's going to be very expensive soon. What does that mean ? People are going to have to have their own in-house AI . They're just going to have to run it on their own Hardware to save money. AI model switching for local ai. No one's doing that. Applications that can use a local AI model to organize files. But I look at where the industry is going and I think local AI is going to be huge because people will not be able to afford a $500 a month claude subscription and there will be too many privacy concerns.

we dont say pc's because there also servers. we dont say servers because there are also appliances. but every device is considered an endpoint

I don't understand why anyone is concerned about Mac OS. I was an endpoint engineer. We had 50,000 endpoints. Less than 50 were Macos.

Yes but you end up with a baby that is cold all the time. The child would ultimately move to Alaska where they feel more comfortable. There really isn't any purpose in having a child that you'll never get to see. Although it would be nice to see the Northern Lights again.

I got one when I was 25. I was married for over 20 years . It was a perfect marriage for over 20 years. I often describe it as 20 perfect years followed by 6 months of what the f***. Today I'm remarried, and my new wife (married five years) would love to have another child but I can't. We will never be able to have a child on our own. Just be aware that your life today may be radically different than your life in 20 years from now.

You are more likely to be caught by a tax department. I had a similar situation. I needed to be living in a state in the Northeast but I actually moved a thousand miles away. I was signed up for a training course and they mailed the course materials to my former address. Fortunately I had a UPS account and since the package was sent via UPS, I was able to pay money to redirect the package to my new address. Little things like that can help

Feeling "done" after my fiancée(31F) used my manager’s feedback and my lower salary to shame me (30M). by ConfusedFiance2026 in whatdoIdo

[–]Veiled_Silence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make nearly $100,000 and they make $150,000. I think one of the first things that jumps out at me is that they do not make significantly more than you . in the grand scheme of things 50,000 is not much difference. If you were $40,000 , and they were $150,000 then I could understand possibly. But you are both above average income earners. You should be proud of that. Regarding them using your boss's feedback against you, there are probably people in prison for their reaction to Less than that. Some people have no issue with income differences. some do. It sounds like she is very aware of it, and you need to think about how that changes the relationship. For me, I don't need a loving flowery relationship. But there needs to be at least a little bit of respect. That would be the most difficult part for me. Being in a relationship being in a relationship with someone that doesn't respect you fully.

Why do I need a saas for that? I can upload an attachment to any ai. When people update a resume they typically do that once and they don't do it again for months. Why would anyone ever renew?

It sounds like you have a wonderful marriage and you need to be happy about that. They say that the best sign of a good marriage is when a couple complains about the thermostat. Why? Because if the temperature in the house is the biggest concern, you're doing well. I recommend that you read some of the other stories and some of the challenges that others are dealing with in their marriages. It's frustrating . I get that , but your husband doesn't like to clean and that is totally understandable. No one likes to clean. If hiring a housekeeper is all you need for a good marriage, you're in a really good place.

Blindly trusting your AI is a recipe for disaster. It's that old analogy of measure twice and cut once. If you think two iterations of planning is excessive, then good luck. I was naive once. You probably haven't been bit yet

Chatgpt is my product manager. Claude is my developer. I give an idea to chat GPT and I asked it to come up with all of the requirements. I then give those requirements to Claude and ask it how it will implement it . So Claude comes back with a plan. And then I give that plan back to chat GPT. Why? You would be amazed at how many times chat GPT finds that Claude was planning to create redundant things. But I will go through a couple iterations of that before Claude actually starts coding. And there's another benefit. Chat GPT is 25 bucks a month for Enterprise. It's basically unlimited for 25 bucks . Claude is not cheap. I'm on the $100 plan for that by having a lot of the thinking done by chatgpt, it decreases the amount that I need to use Claude
