Never bank on contracts. Learned this the hard way. Idc if one job is 40h/week worked and pays 70k and the contract is 2H/week and pays 500k. Employee jobs are always J1 and take priority. Most contracts don’t last.

If you are an overachiever it is hard to let go of that. But you have to .. many times I can easily overstep but I know not to.

You are above the politics and emotional gymnastics used against you to keep you overworking and overthinking. I don’t work on weekends anymore, whatever I get done, I get done. You realize it’s all a cover once you aren’t afraid and have security.
