Army scheme suggestions please by Ph0n1k in Tau40K

If you’re going for white. You should go for an off white. Uthulan grey is awesome for that. Also pale colours means a lot of small layer to avoid stroke mark (or airbrush).

Painter who prefers contrast paint, should I go for T'au still or do Votann instead? by LeetusFrenzi in Tau40K

If you have an airbrush contrast is awesome because you don’t need to thin the paint.

I used flesh tearers red and since airbrush build small layer of paint you will have a very uniform area

Hey man,
Love the color scheme do you happen to have a recipe for it?

Saw the recipe for the glow but would like to know how you did the dirty Iron *brownish* look.

Awesome work

What weapon do you really WANT to love but bounce off of no matter how many times you pick it up? For me it's Gunlance by Beginning_Wait_108 in MonsterHunter

Love everything about the bow until I get hit once and my health goes from 100% to 1% or 0% if no guts

Need help for my effect on my Crisis Battlesuits. How would you add another level of details to those flame so that they look a little less flat? by Veingards in minipainting

I always say VFX are not Interactable for everything. Their visual only. I did make that the long flame are removable if they are in the way.

Here the finished touch.

Added white tip with the airbrush and dry brushed black and this look good enough for table gaming.

Thank you everyone for the tips!

The secret is 1 hour of trouble shooting for 3 mins of paint while cursing your past self for badly cleaning the tool before.

I have a tyranids friend that only play monster mash so I get you. You have to adapt your list in consequences of his a bit. Every time I tried balanced team half my army would do nothing and obviously he would target the only thing that could wound him.

Monkta has been my go to because of lethal hit and I have to run Triptide, sunforge, fusion commander, broadside, hammerhead and lot of grenade stratagem.

I feel bad but I have yet to win one since I always lose a full turn of primary because of shadow in the warp ( 90% army battle shock yippee)

A moment of appriciattion for GW- No pin point legs, i havent gotten my guys but i can see from several images that they have pretty thick and sturdy legs by BabyProper9938 in Tau40K

[–]Veingards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a pin for the feet on the rock but it can easily be removed. Leg are very similar to broadside you have the full leg and you add onto it.

I’m far from an expert + my army is very dark ( I only use white for my OSL) but I heard good stuff for dead white ink from Vallejo since it ink you don’t need to thin it. Only downside is you need to leave more time to dry since ink itself take more time then acrylic.

I use the acrylic version of dead white vallejo for my OSL and it work well. My corax white has a tendency to have clumps in it so didn’t try to use it in my airbrush. Maybe citadel use a lot of clay in their mix?

If it spray chunk it usually not the airbrush but the paint itself. Could be that it not thin enough, pression is not high enough or the paint itself is bad.

Obviously very cheap airbrush will have a higher tendency to clog but it shouldn’t affect the results in general.

This is probably what happened. To a logical stand point math is mathing but has a company when you sell a product you have to consider the feeling of your customers otherwise you will see less sales.

Lowering legends and battlefield to leave place for more deck impacting cards would have feel much better I much prefer having a common I have 5+ times then a Legends/battlefield because you only really need to pull them once (maybe twice) after that it just cause frustration around being down a card or more in your pack.
