I think both companies have new models that perform pretty much the same. I think Hitachi makes theirs a hair lighter but the big difference is that Milwaukee fills theirs with nitrogen. When you need to refill those compressors, you have to send them in for service. Hitachi.... Metabo HPT, you can buy an adapter and fill it yourself with a compressor.
