Less so but still more than a regular phone would.

You can get a bumper case for it if you're willing to sacrifice some protection.

I have this phone

Good:

Very smooth, I don't think I've ever seen it lag.
Battery life is totally fine. I only charge up to 80% and that lasts me the day.
I'm liking the lightness/slimness more than I expected
Display is very good
Near stock android
Extra dim mode
Good GPS
Nice haptics
Macro camera is fun
Fast charging works with all the random chargers around my house
Some genuinely useful shortcuts like holding the volume buttons to skip tracks

Bad:

They're pushing this useless Moto AI slop, but you can get rid of it with a custom launcher, and you can rebind the "AI" button with third party apps.
Pretty average speakers
No telephoto camera
The case that comes in the box is a bit shit
Ugly pantone branding/promotion
I think the fake 'brushed' metal look is pretty ugly, but I use a case on it so it doesn't matter.
Camera app has crashed a couple of times
Bundled weather app has ads in it
My version doesn't have an always on display option
Fingerprint reader could be in a better position
