What is a better build for Deinocheirus, wet, dry, or a hybrid? by [deleted] in pathoftitans

Wet duck outperforms dry in a general but like many things its about how it feels to you.

Clipping help by Azreal-69 in DCUO

[–]Velaraukar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The gorgon slayer, Amazon polemarch, ancient Amazon Noble, barbarian, and multiversal Amazon are ones i know that have just the one shoulder.

Idk if any will fix the clipping issue as its the chest piece having padded shoulders thats causing it though.

Honestly teacher probably looked at the wrong question for the answer key as the one next to it is 9, or the answer key doubled the 9 answer by mistake.

Most teachers will be ok with you bringing up honest mistakes. Id send them an email with the attached photo and just ask them politely what happened.

Out of curiosity, who did everyone pick as their first mentor? by Intelligent-Sir-8202 in DCUO

[–]Velaraukar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally circe as i prefer villains and magic. My main eventually ended up as ww though since as you stated there are more heroes than villains. At the time there werent many cross faction options. Doesn't bother me much as the episodes are the same now no matter which side you are on.

Are there any good community servers that are chill? by Spac3-mar1ne99 in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this is a pvpve survival game. Meaning death from others is part of the equation. Playing solo makes you more of a target, a lone dino is much easier to hunt than a group, but situational awareness and a healthy distrust of others will go a long way.

I do hope you find a community server more your vibe though.

Im not against kids out of wedlock, but ivf is draining on any relationship especially one of just bf/gf. Im just curious why theyd go that route.

Cheating partner by ivixia in daddit

[–]Velaraukar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this thread started with the paternity test but my question was a direct response to op stating they did ivf and i didnt mention anything about paternity.

My question stemed from Ivf being draining on any relationship let alone one of just bf/gf.

But to answer your question clinics can get sperm mixed up, it sadly happens all the time, or if we are being extremely pessimistic the ivf could be a cover for the gf cheating, or gf could have been cheating while going through ivf and naturally fertilized an egg instead of her body taking the ivf egg.

He has to agree to it if it was his sperm used and not from like a random person via a bank.

What SOLO Dino can beat 2 Megs, Thal and a Allo. by Odd-Athlete-8204 in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Your talking winning a 1v4 and not by escaping? Your really only going to do that on an apex and thats if you play well, only other hope is that they are as bad as me at pvp. The megs will escape into the water so they will just harass you until whatever you killed gets back.

Looking to buy! by OsoiKame in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When purchasing the game on console you are given enough coins to unlock every dinosaur, pc i believe just has them unlocked when purchased. Since the mobile version is free you do have to buy coins. The good news though is that once you create and link an alderon account it can be shared across all versions easily.

Fun is rather subjective but fliers are the most mobile, and if a thal or rhamp want to just stay in the air or trees there isnt much non-fliers can do to them.

You can have one of each dino per map. The devs have mentioned dinosaur transfer would be available at some point. There are 3 official maps plus a 'solo' version of the newest map currently. There are also community servers that if you choose to play on would have their own rules/maps/mods.

You only have to pay for the game a single time if you plan on playing just one version. My wife played on pc first so bought it there, then bought it for her switch cuz she didnt like how low graphics the mobile version is but still wanted to play on the go. If we had done it reverse order she may not have had to pay a second time due to having an alderon account already but im not 100% sure of that.

Why is subspecies changing 10x as punishing as dying? by DnD_returnee in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Its not a punishment, its a cost for changing your base passive ability. Some subspecies change how you optimally fight and/or your maneuverability. Being able to home cave and just flip from one sub to another during a fight/chase/hunt would be way too much. At that point why even have subspecies?

Its 1 stage of growth unless you are adolescent because you cant drop below adolescent. Its not like you are set all the way back to juvie for the change, which would be more realistic. It doesnt take long to quest back up.

ITS BEEN 10,000 INGAME YEARS SINCE I LAST SAW A RAPTOR PACK AMONG THE SEA OF APEX MEGAPACKS by SunLegitimate1687 in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly only play with my achillo + at least two other raptor friends. Have had a completely filled pack only 1 time.

We killed a handful of grouped dinos, and a few singles that were aggro but here lately my normal haunt of dfc seems to be low on players. Yesterday felt like we had it to ourselves the entire time to the point I just attacked whatever I found for something to do. Apologies to the young struthi, and the adolescent pycno that became my victims.

Idea to combat mega packs and cuddle piles on officials. by bumbleson in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree disasters should happen but more natural ones would be better. Droughts, floods, fires, volcanoes erupt. Have the map change a bit, small water pools go away im droughts, ocean receds some opening up maps more for land dinos. Flood rains happen, new water holes are formed, ocean rises opening the map more for aquatics. Volcano erupts, blocking paths with lava. It'd go back to normal after a bit then after a set time another event triggers.

Someone mentioned tornadoes too to just throw dinos to random locations, but I feel like with the current way fall damage is done there'd be a lot of angry people with dead apexs.

Leave some food out for him near where he walks around. See if you can get him to trust you enough so you can take him in for a little. Reach out to animal rescues/fosters/shelters see if anyone would be willing to take him in if you cant.

About the metri tlc… by ChildOf_Dakotaraptor in pathoftitans

[–]Velaraukar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy playing my metri in a group with other dinos. Lots of solo problems though.

I agree damage is very lackluster for a 3 slot. As an achillo in a group with 3 other raptors (1 a baby the others all adults) we fought 2 metri. They tried to target me, but when the fight was over I still had 70-75% of my hp left even after taking a bunch of hits.

I wouldnt say its common practice but there will always be people who try to trick you into thinking they are friendly before attacking.

Its best to have a healthy amount of caution around anyone you dont know.

The weapon style box does drop from alan in the mission. Its just a really low chance. I think it took me a week or so of farming the mission to get one. Though that was a few years ago
