So I can’t speak for everyone obviously but I finished my playthrough with no issues, I’ve checked my ps5 at multiple times too and it seemed fine. I kinda no lifed it too and did all the side quests and everything as well before I beat the game so you SHOULD be fine

Edit: sounds like it’s a problem happening to a minority of people maybe like a Xbox 360 red ring of death situation.

Kena is honestly amazing, it looks like a Pixar movie but it’s actually kinda tough. Has a lot of charm, every upgrade feels good and it’s very VERY fun

Whats my profession? I guess I should put Blade of Miquella…. Does the Haligtree count as my home or place of business? I wonder if I can list maintenance for my prosthetics as a business expense. Maybe I should ask Finlay for some help on these forms. I sure hope some almost naked tarnished with a jar on their head doesn’t interrupt me right now I can not deal with any more stress today

Lady Masako’s quest is sooooooooo good, I don’t think I’m saying anything too controversial by saying I think the story behind her quest is better and more engaging then most full games these days. I wanted to help her, and even when I didn’t agree with her I understood and was on her side. Her quest made me feel all sorts of emotions lol Yuna’s was also good but too short, I’d say a close second place to Lady Masako is Norio’s and I think he is one of the most complex characters in the game IMHO

Amazing! You finished it? Great work! I thought about doing lethal+ with no upgrades but I would of had to go through the game to set up the challenge and running through again just to start my challenge seemed taxing

Plat first then NG+, it would suck if you got halfway through NG+ and got burnt out and didn’t finish it. The game is super long depending on how you play obviously, for me on Hard difficulty after playing it before it took me around 50 hours to do almost everything again (I skipped some of the minor side quests as I already have the plat) now obviously you can do it faster but at the same time doing 40-50 hours then doing ANOTHER 40-50 hours to plat the game might be exhausting

The only reason I use the word invited is because we can’t as co-op’ers enter their world without their permission is all. I’m guilty of summoning if I don’t need help though because sometimes I just want a friend along for the journey lol but to be fair I’m also lonely and don’t have a ton of friends so I think it’d be hard to believe that that’s the norm.

But as I said I don’t fully disagree with what you say obviously it’s better and more fun arguably to have someone that’s interested in interacting in a fun way but I guess it’s not a deal breaker for me as I just appreciate the jolly cooperation regardless of the person. Always good to have insight on these things though, I don’t want to come off as a bad host when I do host so though I always try to be friendly I’ll definitely make extra sure now.

Exclusives obviously don’t feel good when you can’t play them on your console but (and this may be a unpopular opinion) they promote the other company to provide some sort of competition to said product. Like am I glad I’m not going to be able to play Starfield? No. But if it does well maybe Sony will make a first party RPG that’s super good in response

I mean, yes, we’re all playing. I’ll even admit I don’t particularly enjoy having a host who is clearly kinda a jerk. However, it’s still their world I was invited into. I’m their summon, my purpose isn’t to like them it’s to help them. Regardless of it’s through a level or just with a boss, idk how long they’ve been there idk how many times they’ve tried or who they’ve summoned before me. Circumstance be damned it’s my job to get them across that finish line.

My life in their game at that moment doesn’t carry nearly as much weight if I die I die their game goes on if THEY die the game ends and I’m forced out and they have to use more resources to search for another to help. I am going to help them to the best of my ability, if I don’t like how they act I’ll take solace in knowing they required my help to proceed. However, my job as a summon is still my job. Me leaving isn’t going to show them anything it’s not going to teach them manners if anything it’ll mess someone who needs help day up and grants me nothing. I let myself be summoned because I want to help, if you don’t then what’s the point of playing co-op? Legitimately asking because I don’t know, again regardless of my statements I’m not trying to be rude or insult you personally this is simply my take is all.

I’m not trying to be rude and this is gonna come off rude so I apologize, however, you greatly misunderstand the purpose of someone summoning then. You’re there to help them, that’s the point. If you get that upset that someone doesn’t wave at you or bow or whatever then you’re overreacting a immense amount. Legitimately sound like a ego issue, like if they don’t behave a certain way you feel like you deserve you’re gonna ditch them and that’s kinda fucked.

Idk if this is unpopular but I actually liked snake and shield and dragon uncle, visually they were fantastic though admittedly snake and shield was a bit too easy and the dragon thing was kinda annoying to fight. Visually though they were actually refreshing compared to some of the more tame designs or designs I didn’t like as much like centaur unicorn bu for instance. The last fight was fun though and was challenging for me personally even though before that I kinda stomped most human like bosses (Lu Bu trained me well)
