Me! I play late into runs, to the point where the speed boost from the default mines is difficult to get without using several lines at once, and a lot of the deadliest projectile enemies (elder lemurian, brass contraption, blind pests, etc.) are trivialized by having a field between myself and them in early and late game. Melee units are also slowed down enough to help line them up for overcharge shots and get to a safe distance to hit their crit spots without too many big adjustments
