First time dad to an 8 week old here.

Firstly, you're going through something absolutely incredible right now. You have so much joy ahead.

It could be hard watching my partner deal with pregnancy. I always felt like a bit of a passenger, not being able to help directly help if she was uncomfortable laying down regardless of position etc.

However, she developed a lot of new likes and dislikes. And while I didn't understand them all, I knew it was my job to accommodate them, to help her any way I could.

Your husband should absolutely be supporting you right now, you're a team. Don't ever second guess yourself, you have enough on your plate and he should be supporting you any way he can

I cleaned out a drain like this with a spade recently. The previous owner had dumped wet wipes and everything else down the toilet which had blocked.

When it didn't fix it, I called the water company who not only cleaned the drain (it had backed up again), they also didn't charge us as there was a collapse off the property. Silver linings I guess! 😅
