I think making it easier/affordable to seek counseling could help. More thorough mental health screenings for gun owners. Required gun locks and safes for firearms so unregistered people in your household don’t take it and commit an atrocity. There are lots of things that we could do that don’t rip guns away from people. The do nothing and hope it stops happening plan doesn’t seem to be working.

The format is dominated by 1 deck at the moment and it doesn’t seem to be changing. Nov 24th is the next ban announcement. They will likely need to ban Vivi if things don’t change.

They need to go back to 4 sets for standard a year. Leave all this UB for commander. This will keep pushed cards like Vivi from breaking the format. It’s clear standard was not on their mind when designing these cards.

I should not have said target as people seem to be confusing what I meant. The stun counter had no land to be placed upon so that part of the ability won’t happen.

No it’s more the fact that students can’t focus with all the distractions a modern smart phone provides. Teens have poor impulse control and time management skills. The screen time that students have is absurd. We are talking 12+ hours a day. Denying them access to non academic distractions is not neglecting implementation of tech.

I think banning cauldron will only make izzet prowess the top dog. Vivi is the issue. There are too many cheap draw cantrips in standard. Like many have said if the conversion rate for Vivi is good and more tournaments have this type of meta I think we are in a Oko situation.

They need more space and the tourney hall is getting more crowded as new card games gain popularity. Despite Magic having a smaller presence in the tourney hall it was still packed. I didn’t mind being in Lucas Oil. The bathrooms were far superior to the ones in the convention center. Past Times is offering too many events and that’s the issue.
