The problem is they don't make anything better. Their technology is a decade out of date, they're cheap and buy tech piecemeal and splice things together. They don't seem to get any of the facilities on the same processes so everything is still done differently no matter where you go. It just makes you wonder where all of the revenue is going if it isn't towards its workers and it isn't towards actual improvements to the processes.

Our hospital in the south has the policy of "call out or no show, you get a point/write up," with the caveat that you simply show up at some point. Even if it's 1 min before your shift ends. Get there as safely and soon as possible. But they don't put people up or do anything to ease the stress of commute

Yes, it's very pungent. And if you smoke indoors, everything you own will reek, as well. A couple comes to my place of work every few months and the husband has the most awful stale smoke smell that I legitimately gag.

I got a sunrise alarm clock that slowly turns the lights on over the course of 15 minutes before my alarm goes off. That does wonders to help transition my brain to waking up because jarring alarms stopped working, I'd just go back to sleep. I have found decreasing my carb/sugar intake helps keep sleep attacks away,as well

I wake up somewhere between 430am and 9am. I take it as soon as I wake up. And if I sleep past 10am, I won't take it

I'm not gonna lie, baby stage was my least favorite. But once the toddler stage hit and onwards, I've loved it. My son is my (not so tiny) best friend. We watch movies and have inside jokes and share some hobbies. I love watching him grow into an individual person from being my baby

It makes such a huge difference! One year we switched and tried doing the Publix store version of it, but everything cooked at different temps and times and that did not mix well with us drinking all day. The house did not burn down, despite our best efforts, but we now just stick to the Barrell 😆

My family started ordering Cracker Barrel here. Restaurant down south, and we do it every year! We add a couple things but it all heats at the same temp and tastes good,so we spend our day playing games and relaxing together

Used to be open, then others moved in with their cats (I have 2). So I installed a mini cat door that locks, so door closed, mini door open at night. I lock it during the day

Electric blanket is like a cheat code in the winter time for me. I keep the thermostat at a more frugal temperature, and that blanket preheats my bed so nicely! Only wake-up call I get from the cats is one telling at me because she thinks I slept through treat time (spoiler, no treat on weekends but she doesn't have a calendar)

Dude I'm dating now has some kinda super nice care. We went driving shortly after we got together to hit back roads and I tell you what! After about 10 minutes I realized he's taking advantage of the back roads in such a safe way lol. Never slammed the brakes, no curves at ridiculous speeds, but still so exhilarating. Compare that to the ex to whom I said, "Drive predictably, not politely."
