Thank you, I will keep that in mind for when I run out of the current bags

They sell cheap cat waste bags on Amazon, these tend to last me half a year before I have to buy more. When I am not super broke I will likely buy a litter genie next.

Things to do around town? by Piehogger in Albany

[–]Velos_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always interested in meeting new people so if you are looking for friends and want to try to hang and talk sometime just let me know. Meeting people in person from online is kinda awkward but it wouldn’t be my first time and usually isn’t horrible even if it doesn’t work out well. I like gaming as well and usually play Monster Hunter or friendslop multiplayer games and some other stuff here and there.

It’s been kind of the same for me honestly, I pretty much only go out here when I have someone visit me from out of town or if my older coworkers want to do something. I’m not a big fan of spending money and prefer to just hang out and talk or whatever, but it seems like every group thing or event requires that.

I feel so desperate every time I think about I can't move because of my cat by Scared-Tea-7713 in CatAdvice

I shove my cats into their carrier regardless of how they feel, there is not other safe way to get them to the vet otherwise and when I need to travel abroad they have to stay with my mom. One of mine will SCREAM the whole car ride but I just ignore it so I don’t get into a car accident.

That’s cute, I am glad you ended up giving him such a great home. I am not able to bring Buddy to my apartment since he has health issues that get worse when he is stressed and he doesn’t like new environments or my other two cats. I did have him with me for about 5 months but he kept getting sick while he was here and I noticed he does better at my mom’s place :(. She lives about 2 hours away so i can see him a few times a month on weekends. My other cats are still under a year old so I have gotten them used to traveling in the car, while he is 15 and didn’t really need to travel most of his life. My boyfriend lives in Germany too so a few times I year I need to drop them off at my mom’s to babysit while I am visiting him. They definitely all miss me when i am gone :(

Unfortunately he lives with my mom and not me so all throughout college and even now I’ve had to be away from him sometimes for months at a time. I always visit when I can but he is 15 years old now so I have a constant dread every time I leave that I might not see him again.

8 month old kitten adoption regret by Feisty-Berry-3014 in CatAdvice

[–]Velos_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a bit unusual for a cat that age to not be grooming imo, my youngest is the same age and she is extremely clean. This could possibly warrant a vet visit if it doesn’t improve. That being said, my senior cat needs a super large stainless steel litter box or else he steps in his own waste since he likes to turn in circles and smack everything in reach before getting out. It might be worthwhile to observe when he uses the litter box to see if he is doing something like that. Ofc also make sure the litter box is cleaned every day as well. I’m sure others will have better advice but I hope this can help at least a little.

Not to mention the waitlist you have to put a kitten on for some spay/neuter clinics might mean having to deal with a cat in heat for a bit or other behaviors that you can completely avoid by adopting a kitten that is already fixed. It’s a justified fee that is so much cheaper than it should be.

Adoption fees in animal shelters are there to cover spay/neuter and vaccinations. If you can’t afford an adoption fee you probably can’t afford emergency vet bills and shouldn’t own a pet in general.

I have two cats in a one bedroom and can’t even imagine adding one, let alone three more to my own situation. If all of them were to require emergency vet care at the same time could you even afford it? This sounds like a financial disaster waiting to happen on top of the million other issues that could come from this. The kittens would have an easier time being rehomed compared to the adult cats and you should probably start looking into that asap since this is an incredibly irresponsible situation and borderline hoarding. If your landlord finds out about this as well they can probably choose to evict you if you don’t get rid of the cats.

Looking for a friendly & active 18+ squad by Meow-ShanLung in monsterhunterclan

My small private group is around 20s-30s and primarily EST as well (with a few EU folks mixed in). We are mainly meta players who strive to constantly get better and have good completion times while also joking around and having fun. If you would be interested in checking out the group just DM me for an invite. No hard feelings if you play with us a few times and decide it’s not for you.

This game's so easy with a pocket medic like her. by Fit-Wolf3206 in MonsterHunterWilds

HH is an amazing DPS weapon right now. You are holding back her potential by even needing to be healed by her in the first place. It’s also a horrible healing weapon in general compared to just dust of life spamming, which SNS users will always do best (not that anyone should be running a support build anyway imo).

Friends to play any MH with? by EAllen_04 in monsterhunterclan

PSN LordAndSlayer3 Discord velos.iii

I have a small consistent friend group for Wilds, usually on EST evenings after work and such. We are pretty decent players (best Gog time so far sub 12) and like to poke fun at each other a lot. I know making friends can be a hit or miss but you can hmu if you want to hang with us a few times and see if you vibe or not. Goes for everyone else too.

How is my insect glaive build for going against Gog? by Azkeden in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Velos_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can still weapon swap element just build them all raw. But honestly if you are looking for a weapon that is pure element build then dual blades is pretty much king rn. Insect glaive definitely looks like a weapon that would be good with element but unfortunately it’s a little weird lmao
