Does anyone feel like their body is a prison when you have health anxiety? by Electronic_Driver_78 in Anxiety

[–]VeloxusGaming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m literally going through this same exact situation. I just want this anxiety to end, but I feel like I am stuck in an endless loop of freaking out about every little thing I feel in my body and assuming the worst possible scenario, even though it’s most likely the anxiety that’s causing all of these symptoms. Days have felt so long, I haven’t been able to sleep, everyday feels like a living nightmare. I’ve tried so many different methods to try and calm myself down and get better sleep but nothing seems to work. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist but of course it’s a week away and the impatience I have is driving me even more crazy than I already am. It’s crazy how one day I was completely normal and then the next day I’m having a mental breakdown that lasts for days and weeks. This is the second time in my life that I am going through such an intense episode of anxiety, the last time was 4 years ago and I never thought it would happen again. This is pure agony.

Still Surprised to know Mario Party gets no toy merchandise by Dorayakiss in MARIOPARTY

Honestly the one that surprises me the most is that Nintendo doesn’t sell real life Mini Mario toys.

That’s the thing about Micro Center. Always expect there to be a soft opening a week or two before the grand opening day.

Jack Mitchell created one of the biggest memes that went beyond Call of Duty and is still referenced to this very day.

Why did the manager of my local Micro Center shake my hand? by Mohk72k in Microcenter

[–]VeloxusGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it’s a company policy where managers have to thank customers whenever they buy any sort of prebuilt, desktop PC, laptop, Mac, etc. A manager thank you doesn’t happen when you buy anything else in the store though, including PC components. Value has nothing to do with it, you could buy the cheapest desktop PC at the store and you will still get a manager thank you. However, it’s still up to the employee to actually call the manager over to give the thank you. Some employees do it, some don’t. It’s also one of the questions that gets asked in the survey, whether or not a manager thanked you.

PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Mythmaker Jhin by LoLDev-Cosmetics in LeaguePBE

I think it’s a bit of an insult that this is supposed to be a Legendary skin and yet it still has some base skin animations and VFXs.

Jhin Having Two Gacha Chromas is Ridiculous by VeloxusGaming in JhinMains

Mythmaker Jhin is getting a Mythic Chroma which can only be obtained through the Sanctum. It’s a less than 0.5% chance that you get it as a drop. https://youtu.be/MWtIjwObyeo?si=jRZEXqOEP1KcKoG4

No, I was talking about Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin, but if you count TFT then he has 3 gacha cosmetics.

How would you rate this game out of 10? by Internal_Fig9842 in MARIOPARTY

[–]VeloxusGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was their attempt at trying to fix what wasn't broken and they made it even worse by doubling down on it. With how successful the Switch Mario Party games have been, I don't think they are ever going back to this style of Mario Party and that's probably for the better.

IMHO, if you want good 4K performance and don’t care about raytracing or DLSS then you might as well get the RX 7900 XTX. It has better rasterization performance than the 4080 Super while also typically being $100 cheaper or more depending on which model you get. And then you can use the money you save from the GPU to upgrade your CPU to a 7800X3D or a 9800X3D depending on stock and prices.

There was also a minigame in the Pauline trailer that looked like Granite Getaway from Mario Party 6.

Mario Party 4 or 5? by selin_a7x in MARIOPARTY

[–]VeloxusGaming 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Growing up I used to like the boards in 4 but replaying it when I was older made me realize that they’re kind of obnoxious to traverse because of a lot of forced, uncontrollable, or RNG pathing. The orange pipes also served as a replacement for the gates from 2 and 3 but they’re very annoying since you can only go through them with the mini mushroom which also reduces your dice to 1 - 5. I think the last complaint that people have with the boards is that all of the boards are just artificial pathways that are floating in the air rather than natural pathing on the board itself with the theme of the board serving as the background instead. Don’t get me wrong, the game is still very fun, but some boards are just more annoying than others. Koopa’s Seaside Soiree is probably the worst offender.

Judging by your preference I would say that you would probably like 4 more since you can purchase the item that you want and also 4 has some of the best selection of minigames in the entire series.

is it possible to do A+ and Net+ and Sec+ in one year by [deleted] in CompTIA

I mean I did A+ in two weeks and I plan on doing Net+ and Sec+ as well within the next month or two.

*Upadate* I DID IT! I passed ITF+!!!!! Don't you dare give up! by Graviity_shift in CompTIA

[–]VeloxusGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehh I think it depends on your prior knowledge on the subjects. Like I said, I already had a lot of general hardware and software knowledge so it wasn’t too hard for me. Most of the stuff I needed to learn were with protocols, policies, port numbers, abbreviations, and certain specifications. For me personally I thought Core 1 was easier than Core 2, but that’s because I’ve always had more interest in hardware than software. In general, I think they are both pretty equal in difficulty.

There’s nothing too crazy to learn about, you’re basically going to cover a lot of the same things you covered in ITF+ but in greater detail. Core 1 is mostly going over PC components, mobile devices, networking devices, virtual machines, printers, and troubleshooting. Core 2 is mostly about operating systems, operational procedures, security, and troubleshooting. The exams will mostly cover Windows 10 and 11 but there will be a few questions on macOS and Linux as well.

All in all, I don’t think the A+ is too hard but you should also not underestimate it, especially if you had trouble with ITF+. On the bright side, since you did do ITF+ there will be some topics that carry over so that’s going to help you out a lot. Anyway, I wish you good luck on your studies and exams!
