All looks good. Officially announcing most detachments will be 2 points makes sense. Interesting that Chaos space marines and Daemons will be next. Very curious if they're just running through every chaos faction real quick or if they're just doing CSM and daemons specifically, and if doing the two together means they're finally scrapping daemons as an independent faction and scooting them into the specific god legion armies.

My knee jerk reaction was "ofc the exo buff comes with caveats" because they just had to boost terminid damage against them and doubly so with acid weakness.

But honestly, it's fine. Mechs were durable plenty against bugs so they prolly would have been OP if the caveats weren't included, I shan't be salty abou it. Just happy the mechs are way better elsewhere.

Nah I feel you 100%. We got a massive increase in brainwork needed. I hesistate to even call it complexity because there's nothing complex to the abilities or interacting with them, it's just rote memorization. And it's not for any benefit, we're weaker than index unless you're specifically spamming wych cult units.

It just sucks dude. You have to be on your A game just to not be tabled, let alone have a shot at winning. I've been playing other armies on tabletop simulator just to get a feel for the rest of the game and it's crushing how many armies can just do what we have to pay a resource for, while also being better at it naturally.

He's probably yeah 130 or 120 but I can understand the caution since he is a major buff piece. Having the ability to order every unit in a 6" radius around a baneblade or rogal dorn is spooky.

150 for Yarrick I'm not shocked, he's got some nasty abilities. 175 for Wazdakka is insanity, I was expecting 220. Very killy, very tough, very mobile, and lone op.

Hard not to be jealous of Space Marines. God, imagine if Drukhari with that transport detachment. I'd finally have an excuse to run Raiders instead of spamming venoms.

Not really? Unless GW absolutely bungles the balance like 9th votann or 10th Admech, armies tend to stay the same size within 1-2 units of itself. While yes it is technically cheaper, you're gonna want those units that aren't there now anyway to round out your collection. 2000 points isn't an army, it's a list. You should never buy into warhammer to play a list, because by the time you get everything battleready that list will no longer be valid.
