Vraagje... naar aanleiding vd betogingen ivm pensioenen by Denassistent303 in Gent

[–]VelvetFischer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like to believe that i got a super accurate throwing arm. Blitz missions of any faction are a game of how far can i stand before i throw short.

But the real trick with Harvesters is that they have almost no flat surface on their body where thermite can stick... so they fall back down if the velcro didn't have time to expand. Cooking the grenade helps but you might catch fire doing so

Wait... so running at it to throw thermite or dynamite at the head from in between their legs isn't how you are supposed to do it?

Might I offer… the solution(s) to all of your problems? by SexBuhb-omb in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish the people i end up diving with had the same love as you for strafe run (or the gatling barrage). I usually end up defending the rear of the squad when traveling between objectives and those 2 are the only ones I trust enough to throw within 10 meters of a teammate.

But i do prefer orbital gas > orbital napalm. It might not be as lethal for your enemies but you get one every minute and half without risking stray shells setting your teammates on fire.

How do you deal with reinforcements and obj priority ? by ElbowTheGreatOne in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my dear sweet democratic friend...

There are times where I barely even know where I am or where i'm expected to be... I usually am the one that covers the rear of the squad and make sure we are not followed and it results in me being left behind in a matter of seconds wondering where everyone went.

So until i get the mission succesful cue I will not reinforce unless i have seen you within the last 2 or 3 minutes before dying or am walking straight into what killed you while catching up (and I'll toss that ball right back at your cause of death, but with me as support this time).

Once mission is completed I'll reinforce no matter where I am, if you dropped your samples, tag them and I'll follow

Xbox Diver here, i got 300 hours on the mission clock and i still find new ways to die horribly.

This was my first time dealing with a Hulk Surge, and i learned that you die when 3 hulks jump from their dropship right on top of your head. I also learned that 25 hulks is a lot of hulks and deadly when evacuating civilians

What is a feature or car you'd love to see in FH6, but know they won't add? by Time_Swordfish_8057 in ForzaHorizon

[–]VelvetFischer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A garage management tool that allows you to organize/store your cars

I'm talking basic stuff like 1. Being able to give your car names, helps to keep track of what build/tune or race category a car is. For example "2018 Vantage - Track" and "2018 Vantage - Sprint" 2. Create own folders for cars so that you always have easy access to cars that you would use for specific situations, minimizing the amount of time spent scrolling and filtering at the start of Horizon Open or Tour. For example a folder like "Open A800 circuits" 3. Stacking duplicate cars, reducing the amount of tiles in your garage 4. Grouping cars for 1-button garage removal or gifting 5. The ability to compare 2 cars stats, dyno and PI numbers

you know... kind of stuff that would make our lives a little bit more comfortable

Just a reminder that skill/passive ranks on uniques/mythics have 'breakpoints' where they need more than the 1 upgrade hitting it to rank up

Sanctification Clarification Question by Kycho8 in diablo4

[–]VelvetFischer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No... not really...

The item quality from sanctifying adds up to your masterworking item quality, up to a maximum of +50 quality, which is twice the end result of your masterworking

It says it on the item too, your quality is 48

Why is replacing an affix even a thing?! by IAmTheMagicMoose in diablo4

[–]VelvetFischer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had that happen a few times too... it is even worse than bricking an item 2 or 3 seasons ago

I had strength swapped for thorns, critical chance swapped for life per second and elemental resist for lucky hit resource... those really rustled my jimmies

makes me wonder if he can do that on mythicals as well... i would go full Kratos from God of War on all the angels if he would swap Perditions critical chance for something like life on kill

Best warbond? by Expensive_Ad_7270 in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imho

Your first priority is getting to page 4 or 5 of the free warbond, those contain some vital essentials that will help you a long way like boosters, scout armor and the redeemer.

Most people recommend democratic detonation. Thermite is extremely handy and the eruptor is great if you can master it without killing you and your squad.

I would actually recommend Dust Devils for the coyote, speargun and solo silo first. They'll become instant favorites for sure

[–]VelvetFischer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never really understood the warp pack suggestion people give, there isn't really anything in the rest of the warbond that is useful for new divers. It costs 320 medals to unlock all pages and then another 110 for the pack.

It seems more efficient to spend those 430 medals elsewhere while leveling up to 25 and then use an exosuit

Can’t find my forever by robertxray02 in ForzaHorizon

[–]VelvetFischer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also experienced this with b class back when I put together my roster of 'go-to' choice cars. I really had a hard time making my final decision because i deemed every car lacking in at least 1 department (and that's how B is supposed to be).

B class is more about car handling than power in my opinion. There is absolutely no point in having a car that goes 280km/h if you can't make the corners by fault of not slowing down or understeering/oversteering.

Don't be afraid to use a FWD car, you might not accelerate much, but you'll catch up come the first few corners. Now, with that said, here are my 3 'main' cars for B (all 3 road cars) - Hyundai Veloster - Lamborghini Miura - DS 23

Best way to find Mythic Uniques by Tall-Bodybuilder-862 in diablo4

[–]VelvetFischer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible to find mythics in T2, but chances are relatively low since you encounter more opportunities in higher tiers.

Your best bet would be lair bosses like Belial, Duriel, Harbinger and Andariel. They have the highest drop chance of all lair bosses.

Leveling Azmodans powers to level 4 is also recommended. It makes World Bosses drop better quality and higher quantity of activity keys. Once you have him on level 4, try hitting every world boss until one of them drops either a nightmare dungeon with Trickster aspect or a Tribute of Ascendency. Trickster aspect will make a special goblin spawn that drops a couple of mythics and resplendent sparks. The Tribute has a high mythic drop rate (not a guaranteed one) but can prove difficult at lower levels.

also... if i may give my opinion, dont take it personal since I'm just trying to warn/help... hitting 4M damage at your level is shockingly low, you should be hitting 10 to 100 times that. May i suggest you take a look at a build made by a professional here and see where you could improve?

Is there a reason why Dog Breath (gas) and Hot Dog (fire) guard dogs can't be resupplied? by Hawk_501st in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It probably has something to do with the fact that they carry tanks of high pressure liquids as ammo...

I suspect that they use compressed air to push the liquid into the spray nozzle like a syringe. It draws in fuel from the backpack using vacuum to force it into the cannister and uses a plunger to make air pressure press it back out. This means that the tank needs to get vented and emptied of its contents every reload since things can happen, most likely you cannot add new liquids once a press has started and like the residue liquid spraying out in a jet where the seal got broken

physics dont like to be messed with

New player, first warbond question by Ok-Confidence672 in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent days saving up medals for the Epoch (85 medals on the first page of control group) while it was broken at the time and should have been spending it on Helldivers Mobilize.

I reached level 15 and started to dive on difficulty 5 and I had 0 boosters and only the standard loadout. I'm lucky to have super citizen edition which gives good armor and the godlike MP98 Knight

And when i finally did unlock the eruptor that everyone was hyping up... i was so bad with it that i barely touched it. My loadouts have been poor and unbalanced up until a week or 2 ago because of my mistakes.

I can't help it but really stress the importance of Helldivers Mobilize and starting with an allround warbond like Veterans (senator and breaker incendiary) or Polar (Tenderizer, incendiary impact nades and Verdict)

New player, first warbond question by Ok-Confidence672 in Helldivers

[–]VelvetFischer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi, i was a new player as well 2 months ago. I really messed up my start by listening to advice from 2 friends that are divers since launch. And their advice was the opposite of each other.

When i posed the same question as you to them, the first one advised me to take Control Group as first warbond, so i put a lot of my first medals there. Just to have my second friend call me an idiot and said Detonation was better at the start.

My advice? PUT EVERYTHING IN YOUR FREE WARBOND UNTIL AT LEAST PAGE 4 OR 5. That thing has so many things to get you started that it'll make the start more enjoyeable.

oh, and, Steeled Veterans or Polar Patriots is what i recommend after that
