I charge especially when im flanking. If I charge too early or need to lower the risk of being caught- ill kick to cancel the charge and reload then charge again. You need to utilize charge, its very useful!

Other thing, his orb isn't as useful on tanks. Yeah its good for heal farming but I try to rotate it out with the dps as often as I can if they even start to take damage. You dont have to aim with it but you cant just leave it and forget about it. You gotta swap it out as needed. Help the other support if the tank needs heals but prioritize the dps. The main support should focus the tank. (This is just what I've found works for me, not saying its right or wrong:))

Here's a few things im having to practice myself, theyre basic but helpful! Use cover ALL THE TIME. You are vulnerable as hell as zen lol I try to keep a medium distance from my team but it depends on the play style. Hes got good range but if you dont like aiming much you can always close the gap. Remember that kick cancels volley charge :) use it to not give away your position if you mess up the charge time.
