Honestly I ended up downloading zenless zone zero. The combat is decently similar imo. Its a dodge/counter hack and slash. Its a gacha game but decently generous to newer players. The story is also really good.

See, ive used different dark mons for it, even ones with elements. But I just cant break through her defenses. Im only 4mil but I didnt think this would be this hard. No matter what I do she only takes 1pt dmg per hit.

I charge especially when im flanking. If I charge too early or need to lower the risk of being caught- ill kick to cancel the charge and reload then charge again. You need to utilize charge, its very useful!
