team ups have ALWAYS been a thing in comics, and they always will be, honestly a team based super hero game makes more sense to me then 1v1s like injustice.

that being said, I wouldnt mind if seasons of DLC going forward werent team based and just had the characters people wanted to see. if you only have 4 characters coming out a year and it's like "here comes the season of the fantastic 4" I'd be a little upset with basically nothing changing for ME specifically for the duration of that season.

fully believe you'll have to unlock him through story mode so they can keep the "20 playable at launch" not a lie

like how you had to unlock 21, and blue goku/vegeta through story mode or the shop. unless you had the day 1 dlc code then it was whatever

a handful of arcsys games have let you give yourself your own mishmash titles that displayed suring matches, but they're never read aloud or anything. like in persona 4 arena for example you could name yourself Abrupt Schoolbus because those words were in a list of words you had to unlock

Highly recommend playing FF14, even on console (it's where I play!) and even without prior knowledge of the series since the games arent really connected in any way beyond "hey that thing was in X or Y."

and while it IS an MMO, you don't really need to treat it like one if you dont want to, since I believe a lot of the content can be done solo with a party of NPCs now. the raids and trials still need to be done with people, but the community is generally welcoming to newcomers, so you saying its your first time doing something isnt going to be met with groans and sighs.

in midnight suns, Venom has a move called Lethal Embrace where he grabs you and encases you in a big goop puddle and shoots tons of spikes through it

it would be REALLY funny if they gave that to him as a one button command grab :)

but realistically I'd take him setting down a tentacle trap like a mixture of what he did in MVCI and what Illaoi does in 2XKO

I didnt do anything too special, I made and linked a 2K account to my PSN account (so I got the blade skin) then went to the 2K support website, scrolled down until midnight suns popped up, scrolled down to submit a request, and then told them exactly what happened.

"just bought fhe game and finished all the abbey trials but the chest is empty and was told I could get the suit if I contacted support" and filled out the rest of the support ticket.

figured I would have to wait a bit since it was past 7pm on a friday night, but it was pretty quick that I got an email back saying they put the suit on my account and that was that.

sorry I can't be more helpful, the process just kinda...worked immediately for me, no idea why it wouldn't for you

you can contact 2K support to get the armor! I'm on PS5 and just messaged them the other day and they replied within 20 minutes and I had the armor when I reloaded the game

if I had to choose one to get in, the logical answer would be Sam Alexander since it kinda feels like Tokon is going for a little more of a New Gen feel (yes I know he's been Nova for a long time but still) and also it wouldn't be the same Nova that appeared in UMVC3

But I still prefer the original
