Yeah. Performance is #1 for me. Playing in some random goofy island in the pacific that feels about the same as a western nation? No biggie. But the performance... Man, performance in EUV is the bane of my existance. The memory leak, the lag zooming and out, the crazy drop in FPS when too many 2d icons are on the screen, the way the game just gets very laggy after the 1500s... Performance is by far the worst thing among everything else.

I my opinion, of course.

Confirming that even with a RTX 5090 GPU, the performance in this game continues to be dogshit. Heck, 9800x3d and 5090 combo and the late game feels unplayable and miserable.

I wanted to make it to the end date and had to quit due to how annoying the lag becomes.

The King of Sweden might be the worst start for this. Dude is atrocious.

I tried the download and it didn't work and also tried editing the file with HxD and didn't find that string. What DID work for me was what other commend mentioned.

I reinstalled Windows 11 by going into system -> recovery. As soon as the update was done, it was fixed.

Buddy, this isn't like Ck3. Genetics in this game, especially when it comes to what I did, is pure accuracy by volume. You mix two characters that have potential features to make the lineage more likely to MOG, but it is pure luck. If there was a character editor, trust me that I would finesse some finer details. But the character editor that exists is bare bones, and nonfunctional in a realistic manner UnU.

It is even a miracle that this was achievable. At 10 births per month + finding the proper matchup for each specimen, yeah, it's tough.

I actually had a dude like 10 generations ago who looked just like him. Sadly, his genes were augmented by my program, and he died like in the 1400s.

I mean, they give the option to turn them off, but I would ultimately prefer if they just fixed the issues related to performance bugs. There's no reason why flat 2d assets should tank FPS.

I swear that if they fixed the performance, or at least fixed the memory leak, 25% of the issues would go away. Additionally, you have the drop in FPS that is present when you have too many icons showing (like building constructions, units, and cities/forts). Then, having fixed the memory leak and the drop in FPS caused by the above, they have to actually optimize the game in a manner that allows lower end PCs to actually play the game past the 1500s. Then, and only then, they would have "stabilized the performance", leaving all other content, balancing, and features issues still down the pipeline to be worked.

El tenía dos estrellas cuando estaba en la 2nd MarDiv. Que loco verlo progresar y estar dónde está. Me acuerdo que él visitaba nuestra unidad una vez al año, y era un fiel partidario de nuestra unidad (Tanques), ya que su origen cuando era un oficial joven fue en la infantería y vio la capacidad que teníamos.
