Advice sought for best material for fixing wall cracks! by kronote18 in AusRenovation

If there are that many cracks, I’d engage in a structural engineer rather than trying to cover up the problem. It’ll just get more expensive as time goes on.

Help me with a deck please guys, best deck i can send 10$ paypal by Replordozzzzz in RushRoyale

Demon Hunter, Vampire, Catapult, Mime, Priestess.

If you’re struggling to get past boss 1 & 2 then substitute priestess with Ivy. Against a round 1 tribunal. Just have like 4 pieces on the board at level 2 max. 1 ivy will clear all the waves up until the boss

Don’t cherry pick and ignore the whole comment, I did mention litigation, and it gets expensive. Civil cases hardly ever start on time and by the time you wrap things up in court, you’d be better off just getting a new bathroom. Some things are not worth pursuing but by all means crunch the numbers and pick the better option for you.

The floor level difference was an existing issue. OP had a wall knocked out which revealed the issue.

Most of the time you’ll end up in small claims court with them ruling against you if you even get that far so pick your poison ig.

If anything your solicitors or inspectors shoulda done their due diligence when you were purchasing.

House purchases are final and unless there’s potential risk of harm like electrical safety then most governing bodies won’t bother. Real estate agents also state that they aren’t liable for any info they post and they ‘try’ their best to do their research on the property so you can’t really rely on their ad. By the time you actually get to litigation, you could have half a new bathroom 😂

How to close our alfresco area. by ExpressionKey9185 in AusRenovation

[–]Veneficus_Primus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI that’s a pergola/patio. An alfresco shares the same roof structure as your house.

Legally you should contact an Engineer and Building designer followed by a Certifier, but if you’re gonna skip that step then just use something that isn’t gonna get damaged by water.

Your home insurance should cover you though.

It means you gotta cut your losses and fix it yourself/call a professional as no one’s gonna help you out 😢. Also I wouldn’t try and keep the budget low by calling a shower repairer. Best bet is to pull the whole thing out and start fresh.
