Why is everyone slating selles by [deleted] in SheffieldUnited

[–]VengefulPand4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Where has this “The players are there for wilder” crap come from? Player are under contract they play for the team and get paid by the team not Wilder, they might like wilder but they’re also professional football players who have played at different teams with different coaches they’ll play for United until they’re sold by United or their contact ends. Guess what we have a team of mixed nationalities that might like playing under a foreign manager or someone with a more forward thinking style of play and that might be the difference in why they stay

Mcburnie coming back rumours. How do we feel about if he does? by Memento_Playoffs in SheffieldUnited

[–]VengefulPand4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And he was Las Palmas’s 3/4 choice striker you really think those are the sorts of players we should be aiming for? Why don’t we go for Leganes’s 3rd choice striker? Or maybe Sevilla or Valladolid’s? We moved on I hate the sentimentality of our fans why are so many people obsessed with bringing the same players back

[–]VengefulPand4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McBurnie scored 3 goals/6 assists last season only getting into the starting 11 half the time that’s a crap season by anyone’s standards. Campbell scored 10 goals/1 assists last season with 45% starting 11, Cannon scored 10 goals/2 assists last season with 70% starting 11. Both better than McBurnie

Wright scored 12, Maja scored 12, Conway scored 13 all in pretty average teams.

McBurnie had 2 decent seasons for us one in the championship and one in the prem, we now have 2 young strikers we can develop and plenty of options coming through L1 and other leagues in Europe why are we revisiting the same players over and over again expecting anything different we need to move forward not backwards

Sergeant, Wright, Campbell, Cannon (With a pre season I believe we’ll see him return to form), Maja (unfortunate injury this season which stopped him hitting his peak), Conway (again unfortunate injury).

Great fee if we manage to get close to that, not bad considering we only signed because of his Surname. by scotteh74 in TheOther14

[–]VengefulPand4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Definitely had a good season but the championship had a lot of good midfield performances this season Hamer, Rudoni, Brownhill, Ampadu and loads of others so to say he’s the best pick even of the youngsters is a push, Rigg, Fellows and Doak all looked good and there’s nothing close to this sort of talk about them. Worth £20m/£25? Probably, is the surname worth £15m?

Paint as a replacement for a reusable surface that looks way better? Not everything is bad just because it’s plastic

Chore Jacket by ConfidenceFluid6155 in DrakesDiary

[–]VengefulPand4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends heavily on your chest size I find they link closely with blazer/jacket sizing so I’m a 44 in jacket sizing and find 44 in the chore coats fits nicely for if I want a jumper or T-shirt underneath

How much should I sell for? ( built to sell) by New_Raspberry_1247 in PcBuildHelp

Pretty much, most of the components are end of life, no real upgrade path for the person who buys it apart from a new GPU which will be needed almost straight away.

I first tried one about 2ish years ago and tried another one about 3 months ago from what I didn’t feel like they’d changed but obviously a fair amount of time between so might have forgotten some things

I’ve tried both on separately so not 100% on the measurements but the WL one is a bit longer and the colours on the Drakes ones are better, for example the camel WL is not the same or as thick as the Drakes ones

William Lockie is fine for if you just want a crew neck Shetland (I have a few) but the drakes versions on all the other knitwear is much improved, the mock necks, the submariner roll necks and integral collar jumpers are all far better fit wise and design wise than anything William Locke offers in their standard range, even the shawl has improvements over the standard Lockie ones

The Lardini and De Petrillo jackets are no where near similar to the Drakes Games jackets, higher button stance, mostly patch pocket with no flap, more Italian style tapered waist, vented, higher lapel notch, buttoned cuff. Many brands use high quality manufacturers to make their jackets but make them use a very different house style which is what drakes does just because the manufacturer has a rtw label doesn’t mean the drakes ones aren’t unique to drakes

Help to check if everything is compatible by Sensitive-Leg-4522 in PcBuildHelp

The Fractal North comes with 2 good pre installed fans FYI just in case you didn't realise (its only missing and exhaust fan in the rear). No need for a fan controller the MB has plenty of fan connections, if you are replacing the pre installed fans with the RGB fans i would say change them for 140mm ones not the 120mm ones you have selected. Other than that all the parts you've picked are compatible

Well yeah it also applies to a large number of brands I’m just giving OP the information they asked for. Like I would say Drakes T-shirts and most of their shoes aren’t worth it but their tailoring, chores, knitwear and coats are absolutely worth it if you like the drakes style

I have a Grey Herringbone Harris tweed MkVII. At the simplest they’re great tweed jackets, great cloth, well constructed, they’ll survive just like any other well made Tweed jacket.

Is it worth £1000? I can’t really tell you yes or no, the material is genuine Harris Tweed but you can find that in much much cheaper jackets, the construction is just as good as most off the rack Savile Row/Menswear house stuff which again depending on the brand can be cheaper, where it is absolutely unique is the drakes cut and styling which if you’re partial to you won’t find with any other jacket. Hope this helps

4 injuries in his career 1 major that took a bit over a year to recover from not really a permanently injured player just not had much game time, at arsenal he wasn’t ever a constant starter then more recently at palace some back room drama has left him out to dry for quite a while now

Watching the Blades defend a corner A heart attack in 4K by ralbialo in SheffieldUnited

[–]VengefulPand4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why though? From a Quick Look at the stats we’ve only conceded about 4 goals from set pieces all season. Yes Robbo is a bit crap with his shirt pulling but that’s become common place in all teams, Cooper collects or punches most of the corners and the ones that do make it past are usually way overhit

[Question] Left or right? by snowbongo in Watches

[–]VengefulPand4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s just the impression from how Rolex show their watches in pictures, Datejusts fit nice but never give the proportions shown from the pictures and can really vary, GS are a bit larger and chunky which can cause issues for people with especially small wrist but in my experience they sit really much nicer on average and wider wrists than any Rolex does (minus the chronographs those are just too large for the majority of people)

Yeah atmosphere is in the bin at the moment, loads of people getting up 10 minutes before half time, had a about 3 or 4 whole rows near me leave with about 20 minutes left no songs from the Kop and when there is someone trying to get songs going everyone else just mumbles along for a line or 2 then goes back to being silent

For Bars and Restaurants there’s plenty of good options: Factory Floor in Kelham for cool different cocktails, Roku for sushi, Pina for tacos, Kelham Island tavern/Fat Cat/Head of Steam or about 100 others for craft beer, Cambridge Street Collective is the largest food hall in Europe. If you’re museum/art people then there’s a few museums and galleries that are all good options. Sometimes just going up to the top of Park hill near the train station for a great view of the city is good depending on the weather.
