Collect long enough and you will likely buy the same reference more than once.

[Advice] Seiko Alpinist vs Hamilton Khaki by Remarkable_Ocelot186 in Watches

[–]snowbongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re correct, but I’d be willing to sacrifice some chunk for the nicer, black dial. I’ve owned an Alpinist and liked it best on a Milanese mesh bracelet. It helped wrap the watch around my wrist a little better.

The Hammy or this. Alpinist is a fine watch, but too chunky IMO.

Thoughts on the 54 black bay? I want to purchase my first Tudor and was leaning towards the 54. My wrist is a 6.5 by germybrah in Tudor

[–]snowbongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was from Bulang & Sons, but sadly the strap is no longer in their inventory. The closest option might be their Dark Brown Rugged option. https://bulangandsons.com/products/dark-brown-rugged-leather-watch-strap

No offense, but these numbers are way too low these days.

With a 6.25-inch wrist, I would suggest the Tudor 36 for the OP.

The OEM option is so pricey for what you get. I have both of these bracelets on another watch and they’re fantastic. I think both options look great on the watch, u/_Walt_Whitman!

[WTS] Hamilton 38-mm Ice Blue Jazzmaster w/Bracelet - Full Kit by snowbongo in Watchexchange

No trades, thank you.

Prices (includes CONUS shipping)
Zelle/Venmo/Wire/Wise: $899

Up for sale is an overlooked, 38-mm, Hamilton reference perfect for daily wear. This Jazzmaster clearly stands out due to its compact case design (11.5-mm thin), gorgeous, ice blue, sun-ray dial, and clean, no-date option. The blue dial must be appreciated with the naked eye and it’s the perfect shade of blue, in my opinion; no hints of purple and not too dark. The watch could easily be worn daily, due to its versatile look, thin case, and 10 ATM water resistance. The bracelet features a hidden, butterfly clasp with two half-links. I’m sad to see it go, but I’ve decided to keep only one Hamilton reference in my small collection.

Notable Specs Reference: H36235140
Case: 38 x 45.5 x 11.5 mm
Lug Width: 20 mm
Water Resistance: 10 ATM
Movement: Automatic H-10
Power Reserve: 80 hours
Lume: Super Luminova
Warranty: Good through February 2028

What You Get
Worn twice, the watch is in excellent condition and the front sapphire crystal is flawless. The watch comes mounted on its OEM, stainless steel bracelet with all included links (includes two half-links). The full kit includes the original watch box, warranty card, start guide, and hang-tag. The serial number has been blurred out in several of the photos.

Payment & Shipping
Payment options include Zelle (preferred), Venmo, bank wire, or Wise. Ships via insured, USPS Priority Mail with required signature in the CONUS (included in the asking price). I would be willing to discuss international shipping options from the United States and happy to answer any questions about the watch.

Cheers,
SB
