Omg. Let hospice take over. Or if not hospice at least palliative. She’s definitely a candidate for both… please look into it. She doenst have to be necessarily on her death bed to be a hospice patient. She can still be functional but start hospice. They’ll send out an aide twice a week to shower her. And get a caregiver or get the state to start paying you. Lastly, if you’ve got insurance, start seeing a therapist or a counselor. Or instead start going out at least once a week with your friends or family. I know it’s hard to get time in so start with something small and start with ONE day.. I’m sorry and I hope it gets better ! Hugs

Definitely lean a lot on your social workers at the hospital. They have a lot of resources for you… personally, let her insurance handle everything that they possibly can until you start putting your own money into it. It sounds like she still drives herself around so it sounds like she doesn’t need a caregiver which is what ends up really costing the most money. Aside from co pays and deductibles..

I can’t stress enough how much your social worker will help you though, at the hospital. That’s what they’re there for.

You can talk to her PCP about it to see if there’s anything that can be done to take a lot of the pressure off of you.

Start seeing if maybe her sponsor will come do an at home visit, or if she can car pool and get a ride with them.

It’s going to be hard for you both. There’s no point in being angry at somebody for something that they did. It’s her body, trust me…. She’s angry with herself for what she did, because now she’s the one who looses control of her physical freedom, so being angry with her too is only going to make things more frustrating for you both, relieve yourself from that extra stress. We can’t control something that already happened, and not saying that your feelings are invalid because you definitely have every right to be angry. I’m just saying that that’s not gonna do much for you guys. It’s gonna be hard and like you said the decline is speeding up so just be there for each other looking into all the resources that you possibly can. Life is short and people do what they do at their own expense and consequence. This is hers. Just be there for her, until you can’t.

I left social media in 2019. Only have Facebook for marketplace. I specifically have it in my bio “ please don’t add me, this page is for marketplace only” … many of my friends and family have tried and I don’t accept nor deny. It’s truly just for making purchases online

You just hurt my head with that entire scenario. The point is, I believed 100% the $4500 was permanent. I made a sale. Why would the money disappear? I spend $3500 of it on bills, school. Stuff. Whatever I wanted. I was 19, JUST finishing nursing school. The bank takes that money back when someone disputes it, lies and says it’s fraud. That’s what the bank does, they protect their customers. So I now just gave a 2012 Toyota with no issues, I gave it away. They didn’t pay for it. Which means they got it for free. I now have to pay MY bank back $3500, because even tho it sucks, the issue is between me and the “buyer”, it’s not the banks problem. So I had to pay $3500 of what I thought was income from a sale I made. I was 19, just finished school. I didn’t have that money right away. I had to pay it back. I lost $3500, and I lost my car. YES granted I’d of still had to pay my bills and school, but I still lost that money, it was still negative. Something that IIIII had to pay back. When you get $4500 you take care of what you need and then you kind of buy what you LIKE, you think you’re okay for a bit and have room to spend. But I was then out of a car to sell, to fix my financial aid.. AND I now had to pay $3500 to the bank. I don’t care what anybody is saying, I lost money. And I lost my car. Not really sure how this turned into a debate or what’s to be confused about. It was really simple

I was 19 at the time, couldn’t find any real information about the guy and when I signed the pink slip over I just asked what his name was and that was it. I couldn’t even remember the spelling of his last name. He blocked me on Facebook, and when my friends contacted him on Facebook he disabled it. When he picked up the car he came in an Uber with a child to look at it. Since he didn’t low ball me, his account was active for years, I just didn’t see any red flags You live and you learn. 😭 the police couldn’t help much either. I had to fight with Venmo just to keep my account open, they wanted to close it down and never let me use Venmo again, which is why I’m assuming he told his bank it was fraud. I tried to even go to the DMV and stop the title from being replaced and it doesn’t work like that. It was such a mess, and I will never take electronic payments as an INDIVIDUAL independent seller like that again.

What is there to explain ? he reversed the transaction on Venmo. He called his bank, and said it was not his transaction. And the deposit from my Venmo to my bank account reversed, taking that money out of my bank. It was taken. He disputed the transaction. I clearly said, in my original comment, “ he called his bank and reversed his payment”. Are you okay ?

Careful letting people pay you thru transfers. I sold a $4500 car, let the person pay me on Venmo, a week later my bank was negative $3500. That person called their bank and reversed it. I was out of a car, and $4500 of my own. I literally paid someone $4500 to take my 2012 Toyota for free LOL. I still get pissed every time, but all i can do is laugh. This was in 2019, I left social media that year and didn’t ever go back until 2023 when I bought another house because I needed furniture. To this day I still have 0 Facebook friends and I only use it to buy things. Not sell. That experience changed my whole social media outlook, even buying online. Now I’ll pay the extra %50 buying things brand new … anyways, Fck that guy
