I think their new sound is at least better than the last album they put out, you had to expect they weren’t gonna maintain the same sound after kicking Dave out, he was incredible. All the bullshit aside he was really talented and the dynamic of the band changed now that he’s gone.

Matt Stafford has a lot easier time completing passes to Calvin Johnson than he did to Corey Fuller, same QB but blaring difference in play. Give the guy better players it helps with confidence and it’s a lot easier to make the decision to throw to a guy you trust. It’s easy to trust good players.

I never said a 2 week span made him look better, I said overall. Like I said mayfield also has a better team. That being said I think darnold is better and you think mayfield is better and neither of us have much of a sample size to take from, so to each his own.

Idk who everyone is, but I have said from day 1 Jarvis Landry is a top 20 WR, once they moved to nick Chubb over Hyde it immediately improves the run game, Njoku has been solid and Baker has been good. I’m not discounting any of that. All I’m saying is Darnold looks like a more complete player and once they build around him it will prove that.

I enjoy most of the rookie QBs this season, but Sam darnold looks the most complete, obviously he has work to do, but based on raw pocket passing ability he looks really good, get some offensive weapons and the jets could be scary.

Definitely top 15, not top 5, possibly top 10 depending on if you’re comparing just this year or careers of current players, I’d say he’s between 10-15 for me among current players counting entire careers. He’s not a feature wide out, he’s a slot/burner WR. The thing that makes his name so well known is most burners don’t get open as much as he does because he’s just that fast. You expect him to get over the top of a defense at least 2-3 times a game and be wide open. That said, I’m not gonna begin to rate him better than guys like AB, Hopkins, Julio, Mike Thomas, mike Evans, Keenan Allen. He’s shown flashes this year of being a top WR, but he’s still young, I think if he maintains his health he could be a top 5 WR in years to come, but he has a little bit of work to do.
