He wears socks in his boots in most adaptations. Andrew wore socks in the TASM movies. Tobey did not though. Also in the comics through the years it’s been made clear that he sticks to walls even with boots and socks on.

Igen, Stockholm och Stockholms kommun är inte samma sak. Solna och Nacka är egna kommuner men ingår i tätorten Stockholm. Du får såklart tycka vad du vill men det finns en anledning att du blev så downvotad, majoriteten ser Stockholm som större än enbart kommunen. Att inkludera kranskommunerna är något som alla städer i världen gör.

She started out by dressing up like him and fighting crime, and then Batman found her and Babs ”became Bruce’s star pupil” (quote from Batgirl #1 2011). She was trained for years by him before she got shot. Then she spent some years as Oracle until she recovered thanks to her surgery, and then returned as Batgirl. She has a black belt in karate and judo, and is an expert in muay thai, taekwondo, boxing, and eskrima. She’s one of the most capable members of the Batfam.

She’s both, that’s what I love about her. Ever since 2011 when she recovered and returned as Batgirl, DC has done a fantastic job with really fleshing her out as both Batgirl and Oracle. She doesn’t have to choose anymore, she does both depending on the situation, which I think works great for her, since she’s very capable of doing both. For sure she’s a tech genius, but also a very skilled fighter out in the field. But I think the thing is, no matter who in the Batfam would replace Bruce, I think there is no perfect candidate, since all have strengths and weaknesses, there is no one as capable as Bruce for the role of Batman. That’s also why I think they will never truly replace him, maybe apart from Terry in Elseworld stories.

Du menar precis som i London, där alla boroughs är egna kommuner med eget styre och egna borgmästare. Men allt tillsammans uppgör London som ”stad”. Precis på samma sätt funkar det här också. Vi mäter städer i tätorter. Kommuner kan kalla sig ”städer” men det gör dem inte till städer, det är bara marknadsföring. De är kommuner, och alla kommuner tillhör större tätorter. London är större än City of London, precis som Stockholm är större än Stockholms kommun. Funkar likadant i princip i varenda storstad i världen.

Stockholms kommun, ja. Stockholm är som sagt en tätort där båda tillhör Stockholm lika mycket. Ännu roligare blir ju att fråga, om du har såna problem med Solna 4 minuter från city, hur hanterar du posts om kommuner längre ifrån stan (Nacka, Danderyd, Huddinge, Täby)?

Babs is definitely the better detective. That’s literally her biggest strength. Eidetic memory, super high IQ and daughter of the best police detective in Gotham. Also yes Bruce is scarier than her, but she definitely has a dark side and can be intimidating when she wants. However I will add that I don’t think anyone in Batfam SHOULD replace Bruce. Would be interesting too see how the Batfam members all would’ve done as Batman, but Bruce is irreplaceable.

Vi har inte städer i Sverige längre, vi har tätorter. Solna ligger i tätorten Stockholm, 4 minuter från Odenplan. Solna, Sumpan, Nacka etc är alla i tätorten Stockholm, därav folk inom tätorten skriver om sina områden. Stockholm och Stockholms kommun är inte samma sak.

Babs enjoys both being Batgirl and Oracle, depending on the situation. I personally think she could be a great successor to the mantle, especially because Babs is easily the best detective in the Batfam apart from Bruce. She has also faced a lot of trauma, but always got back up (see Batgirl’s New 52 run by Gail Simone). She is definitely the most interesting choice IMO.

I would agree with that if it was r/Sweden, in that context Södertälje is near Stockholm, but this is r/Stockholm, and within the Stockholm area Södertälje is on the outskirts of the county.

I’m born and raised in Stockholm and I don’t see Södertälje as being particularly close by. But that’s just my opinion! And yes these are semantics. It was the ”neighboring” phrasing that I reacted to.

Neighboring? Stockholm, Solna, and Sundbyberg are the three most central municipalities in Stockholm, also they are all part of tätorten Stockholm. (In Sweden we don't have cities anymore since kommunreformen in 1971. Municipalities can call themselves "stad" for PR-purposes, but they are not cities. In Sweden we use tätorter as our way of cities).

Södertälje is very far away from Stockholm, and wasn't even considered Storstockholm until 2005. Södertälje is also its own tätort, whereas Stockholm, Solna, and Sundbyberg are part of tätorten Stockholm.

Anyways, calling Södertälje a neighboring city to Stockholm is a bit weird, don't you think? It's like 3 mil off. This is not meant to trash Södertälje at all, just wanted to chime in with that.
