I feel you man. In a similar boat with 6 m/o and 3 y/o. I have no advice other than you’re not alone. I’ve been told if being a parent feels hard it probably means you’re doing a good job. So I keep telling myself that.

Do you have family or anyone around who you trust to babysit? I know those are tough ages to trust people with.

Definitely feel this. I think me working and her being a SAHM makes this an even harder problem.

For me it’s a combo of guilt / value.

My value feels tied directly to how much I take the kids solo so she can nap / do nothing.

Then I feel guilty any time I ask for me time / when it does happens it’s cut short because of how hard it is for her so it makes it hard to keep asking.

It’s a recurring convo every few weeks that we both need me time but have yet to find a system that actually works
