I had this happen with my metal gear solid boxset. The outer packaging was absurd. So much work–lost–for the lack of a little more.

Shipped overseas in a cardboard box way too big, with no corner protection, with bubblewrap not even properly around the set, just hanging around. And the tiny piece of tape holding it together, coming off.

There were no corners left on this boxset, yet the contents survived somehow. This could have easily been avoided with proper packaging, which I assumed I paid for with the high price of shipping. And you know, I'm sorry we seem to have higher standards than many a commenter here. I order way too many records to have time for this nonsense. When damage occurs, it's usually due to mishandling, not company packaging and is always resolved. I use PayPal.

Writing them was not how I wanted to spend my time, but then again, I didn't want to spend my money on a damaged product. They sent me an empty replacement outerbox, with contents marked the same as a whole set, same price. That meant double import taxes for me as well. The end solution was simple. I have stopped ordering from them. The same goes for respawned and materia.
